It feels really nice to be able to deliver you a nice hefty BIOS assortment for today, despite the fact that St. Valentine has absolutely nothing to do with PC drivers. Today's stars are the EVGA BIOSes revision 033, released for the X79-based boards. Most of the 9 fixes which come with version 033 of this BIOS address a lot of errors relating to the currents and voltages in the memory modules and processor. It also looks like the Clear CMOS command is now followed by proper default values loaded in the BIOS.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a BIOS or device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong BIOS or driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer
