ISO image format has gained a lot of popularity lately and, despite popular belief, it is easy to create such files, if you have the right software assistant. AnyToISO could fill the gap in this sense and we have 50 licenses to give away this week.
The catch is that you have to drop a personal post in the comments section below in the next week. To increase the chances to be picked as a winner you should leave some original, creative lines that stand out from the crowd. AnyToISO is regularly priced $22.95 (about €17.5) and, as its name implies, it is designed to convert the contents of any type of disc to ISO image format. More than this, it can be used to turn other image formats, such as NRG, MDF, UIF, DMG, ISZ, BIN, DAA, PDI, CDI or IMG into ISO. Besides its conversion abilities, AnyToISO can also extract data from a pretty large number of other image formats. The list includes BIN, CDI, DAA, DMG, GBI, IMG, ISZ, MDF, NRG, PDI, RPM or UIF. Your chances to win one of the 50 free codes are only as good as your comment. So make your remarks as honest and witty as possible. You have a week to post your message, until Friday, so that you can also test the program and form a pertinent opinion of it. Don't forget that we need a valid contact email address. For a full list of the software featured in our giveaway campaign you can check this article on a weekly basis, keep an eye on the weekly giveaway tag or receive the info by following the Softpedia Giveaway Twitter account. Note: The winners will be picked from the comments section of this article, and will be contacted in 5 days after the giveaway expires. They will have to provide their full name in private (when required) in order to collect their prize. No other information except for your comment and the alias / nickname you provide will appear online. We urge you not to double post and, most importantly, be original because pasting from different sources on the Internet will get you kicked from the giveaway campaign.

| Comment #2 by: aerostrato on 24 Dec 2011, 12:17 UTC | reply to this comment | These days when the "cloud" is over us is still needed to "burn" a DVD; well this is one of that application that any operating system have to offer as its default feature! |
| Comment #3 by: malkhaz on 24 Dec 2011, 12:38 UTC | reply to this comment | Wow, the cool offer, thank you Softpedia! Just installed AnyToIso, and now I want to describe it shortly. The installation process is very easy and fast. The only disadvantage which I found is that it is running as a lite version, and you don't have opportunity to try demo version as a full featured product. But what can I do. Everything good and perfect always costs money. The interface of the program is very simple, but I think it does not need more because it is a specific program. The main interface consists of three tabs. The first tab is called "File Extract / Convert to Iso" . Operation is very simple, just choose an image file and and destination folder, than just click to "Convert" but and you are done! The second tab is called " CD/DVD disk to Iso" . It allows you to convert CD and DVD disks directly from CD/DVD drive. Great feature for me. Just choose your optical media drive, and destination folder, that's all. You are a king of Iso conversation! The third and the last tab of the interface is called " Folder to Iso " . It allows you to convert folders to Iso file. Another cool feature for me! Of course creating this is very easy and simple too. By the tab, "preferences" you can choose your default language ( you have a great choice, because this programs has multi-language support) , check for newer version and integrate this program features to Windows Explorer.
Thank you again, Softpedia, for this great giveaway. Really Iso managing and creation is very needful for me. Hope I am lucky and this X-mas will be very happy to me!
Merry X-mas , and Happy New Year, Softpedia!
Sincerely yours! |

I regurlarly create and open many types of image formats while creating distributable cds and dvds as well as bootable live Linux based disks and so have the need to be able to convert between formats, i do have and use UltraIso for most of the heavy work of creating and editing image formats, but AnytoIso does extend the list of image formats that can be converted beyond that which is available in UltraIso, so please count me in for this giveaway, thanks.
Good Luck to All. |

| Comment #13 by: sueska on 24 Dec 2011, 18:18 UTC | reply to this comment | It is my tradition to burn a few back-ups (aka coasters) of the file prior to burning an iso. Many of the more popular burning programs are not intuitive when it comes to burning an iso. I never can find a "burn an iso" menu and always have to revert to my notes. Just hate that! |
| Comment #14 by: ReviewsAntivirus on 24 Dec 2011, 19:10 UTC | reply to this comment | AnyToISO can convert many popular formats to ISO disc images. Free version only allows you to convert CD images. The manufacturer provides versions for Windows and Mac OS X.
Among the supported formats includes: BIN, MDF, PDI, CDI, NRG, B5I, IMG, ISZ, ISO, DAA and UIF. Additionally, it is possible to extract the ISO, DMG, DEB and RPM. The application is limited practically to a single window, so that tasks are very simple and convenient.
In order to convert images to purchase the DVD version of the Pro

| Comment #29 by: alex on 27 Dec 2011, 23:23 UTC | reply to this comment | It helps consolidating data to the universally common .iso format and this together a simple third party .iso mounter makes data available and more manageable. No more a useless format proliferation and we can get rid of data containers that are not strictly necessary. There are many ways to better deal with data such as backup and so on, AnyToISO remembers us how important is data organization. Thanks |
| Comment #30 by: cipriansorin on 28 Dec 2011, 14:56 UTC | reply to this comment | Keeping your files in ISO format makes it more convenient for easy access. You will not actually need tens of CD's. Storing the info on the hard drive is a viable option and since ISO is a compressing format as well, saving space is another feature you should have in mind when it comes bout this file format.I found AnyToISO extremely easy to use and the process of extracting files smooth and fast. My belief is that the developer had in mind a software very easy to handle and to work with. The customer is actually anybody since no special knowledge is required to use this nice tool.
Thank you , Softpedia! |

| Comment #32 by: hacmerz on 29 Dec 2011, 06:03 UTC | reply to this comment | nice software. Comes in handy when you need to convert to an image format that is supported on all systems by nearly all imaging and compression software(7zip, Izarc deamon tools etc..) i.e. ISO and as the name implies anytoiso. If you use virtual machines that does not support shared folders then this app comes in handy to quickly create an iso image from the file you need to transfer to the new virtual host. Count me in. |

| Comment #34 by: DDimitri on 30 Dec 2011, 13:48 UTC | reply to this comment | AnyToISO Pro provides a portable version and does not need a reboot for its installation.
It has surprisingly a minimalist and a little austere interface but it
is also an intuitive one and so AnyToISO is very easy to use.
It does a good job and this is the most important!
It can do all we are entitled to expect from this kind of software. It
supports quite all of the most used formats and several languages too.
Another good giveaway/contest from Softpedia!
Thanks a lot! |
| Comment #35 by: rg on 31 Dec 2011, 12:20 UTC | reply to this comment | 100% better than daemon tools lite.... cheers to that:) |
| Comment #36 by: antonytony on 31 Dec 2011, 12:48 UTC | reply to this comment | It is now common to make images of disks of games, softwares and other information contained in cd/dvd/bd etc. While some think it is related to piracy, some others do it just to secure their original disk.
ISO is a popular format supported by all major virtual drive managers. So anytoISO converter is a useful product.. AnytoISO can convert other image files such as NRG, MDF, DMG, BIN, DAA to ISO , and not only that, it can also convert files, folders, cd/dvd/bd to iso so that it could be used directly for the hard drive. It is also easy to transport iso files from one computer to another.
anytoiso can also export/extract the contents of the above image formats and also many more..
Storing in ISO is not a bad option provided we have at least purchased the product. It is advantageous because we can use the data directly from the disks rather than from it, so we prevent damages to the original package..
Thanks softpedia. Count me in this giveaway.. |
