Whether you want to create your own DVD case covers or LightScribe the discs themselves with a personal image, Ashampoo Cover Studio can get the job done for you. And for those sharing some interesting lines in the comments section below we have 25 licenses to give away.
The deal is the same as always: you punch in a relevant comment about the application (regularly priced at $19.99) and you can be among the 25 winners of this campaign. Ashampoo Cover Studio does not require an artist in order to produce awesome results as it comes with a wealthy set of predefined themes which can be adjusted to your own custom needs. You can use your own images and tweak them with text and shapes. Working with the application is easy to the end since it guides your every step of the task. Each new design can be saved as a template and reused for later projects. Among the strengths of software we count LightScribe support, a new batch of themes and objects, you can use it to print out booklets and it is incredibly easy to use. Your chances to win one of the 25free codes are only as good as your comment. So make your remarks as honest and witty as possible. You have a week to post your message, until Friday, so that you can also test the program and form a pertinent opinion of it. Don't forget that we need a valid contact email address. For a full list of the software featured in our giveaway campaign you can check this article on a weekly basis, keep an eye on the weekly giveaway tag or receive the info by following the Softpedia Giveaway Twitter account. Note: The winners will be picked from the comments section of this article, and will be contacted in 5 days after the giveaway expires. They will have to provide their full name in private (when required) in order to collect their prize. No other information except for your comment and the alias / nickname you provide will appear online. We urge you not to double post and, most importantly, be original because pasting from different sources on the Internet will get you kicked from the giveaway campaign.

| Comment #13 by: supercracker on 17 Sep 2011, 18:55 UTC | reply to this comment | We often find it difficult to identify a separate disc from our large disc collection. But Ashampoo Cover Studio is a complete solution for this problem.Using this software we can create disc covers which suites our likes and imaginations.
According to me a plus point of this software is it's simplicity.A normal user can use this software with ease. The collection of templates makes the cover creation easy and quick......Also it has got a wide range of customization options for advanced users as well.I'm already using some of Ashampoo's soft-wares which are good and satisfying. This is also such a nice piece of work... |

| Comment #22 by: Kriss_Hietala on 18 Sep 2011, 10:58 UTC | reply to this comment | Why ashampoo? Because Nero messed lots of CDS for me (DVD-video). And it does not use as much resources as nero, so it's comfortable to use. Lightscribe works well with my LG burner, however it was a little slow. |

| Comment #28 by: mikey1975777 on 19 Sep 2011, 06:07 UTC | reply to this comment | In my experience, Ashampoo makes quality products, and Cover Studio is no exception. Though there is a bit of a learning curve to using Cover Studio, the help files are more than adequate, and the GUI is attractive, straight forward, and easy to navigate. I had my first DVD cover made in about 20 minutes, and though it didn't look super professional, it met my personal needs just fine. I also liked the selection of different types of media I could create with Cover Studio (CD cover, DVD cover, CD booklet, etc.), which is great for those of us who have kids that like to "lose" movie cases.
One issue I had with Cover Studio was its lack of template selection. There are only about 20 different styles, and I couldn't find an option to download or purchase additional templates, which would have been really useful. This may be an issue for those of us who have a lot of DVD cases we need covers for, because even though you can add your own images, the main background will likely be duplicated on some DVD covers--a limitation which leaves Cover Studio in the "for personal use only" category.
Another minor issue is the sneaky toolbar installer/browser hijacking software that Ashampoo bundles with all their programs. This can be opted out of though by simply deselecting a check box, and considering the quality of their software, this cardinal sin can be easily forgiven.
At $19.99, Ashampoo Cover Studio is very fairly priced, considering the vast amount of features and ease of use the program offers. Of course, you could probably make more professional quality DVD covers with programs like Photoshop, but not many of us have the money nor the Ph.D. required to run that kind of software. I'll stick with Cover Studio! |

| Comment #49 by: mario from brasil on 23 Sep 2011, 15:12 UTC | reply to this comment | My Ashampoo software collection is increasing almost by the day! Good old German quality products. Their marketing is extremely aggressive . One can find giveaways all over the net. All the time. And yet, some weeks ago I bought one of their products. Actually a new version of a product I already had. The offer was so cheap I could not resist!! Less than US$ 5 for Burning Studio 10?!?! I have so many of their giveaways that I just felt that give them back so little was a must and the least I could do. Now about Cover Studio. To tell the truth, I have never taught about this kind of product - well maybe have, but this was not my priority. I've never had a LightScribe drive in all drives I've already had - and they were many. LightScribe media is kind of expensive here in Brazil also, so that was another no-no. BUT, printing covers is another thing. So, I downloaded a free trial version of the software, installed it, downloaded a cover from the Internet, acquired it by the software and I was ready to print it in about 30 seconds. Couldn't be easier and faster. It has all kinds of cover sizes one can choose from - Cover Studio just fits the image in. Insert a CD - all I had was a DVD with 352 mp3's - in 40 seconds I had a list of all music titles in it to print. What can I say more? The only thing better than that would be if the software would search the net for covers by itself once supplied with the name of the film. But maybe Ashampoo is leaving this tool for Cover Studio 3. While that doesn't come, I would be glad if I had Cover Studio 2!! Thanks Stefan, Softpedia and Ashampoo

| Comment #50 by: handroid on 24 Sep 2011, 00:29 UTC | reply to this comment | I love you, oh Ashampoo
if you allow me to stay near by

in front of my computer at home. |
| Comment #51 by: rikdude on 24 Sep 2011, 02:44 UTC | reply to this comment | I really dig the lightscribe option. As everyonr knows the lables can creat problems when playing. Most of the editing is already done for you. All you need to do is a little customizing. $19.95... I ve paid more than that for software that does alot less and a crapy job when it does..GET IT.... |
