I am actually using free version of Glary Utilities on my Windows 7 machine and I would really like to switch to Pro version.
Before I started using Glary Utilities I was using several different tools to keep my system clean and optimized (and somehow it never really was :() , but Glary offers a perfect All-In-One solution which really works.
Glary Utilities is effective and secure tool with easy to use interface - it is really important, because my wife is also using free version of Glary Utilities and she is not a computer genius (hope you know what I mean ;))

Glary Utilities PRO is very good program and very stable program. Great feature in program is recover accidentally deleted data. Besides program is very easy to use for new users which has not experience.

I heard about this software. But it can't compete with tune up utilities 2011.

It is very good and useful program to keep the PC " healthy ". Many of these types of " all purpose " cleaning and optimization utilities are cumbersome, difficult to set up and use and can be downright dangerous to the users PC but not so with the easy to configure and use Glary Utilities. The program is easy to use and nice interface to me. I would like to incorporate into program a good hard drive defragmenter. Maybe it is in some future versions.

We've all heard of AIO (All In One) printers...well, this is an AIO piece of software...just fantastic !

THIS IS BIG QUESTION!

Well, after all it is a system utility that everyone should have on their machines.

It really surprised me that, besides the usual cleaning stuff which comes with other, mainly free progams (like CCleaner), it has a series of other useful utilities like the duplicate file finder for example, or the file splitter and joiner. We might not use these as often as the cleaner, but in some cases it may come handy.

Another nice feature which I really like, is the Registry Defrag. In the past I used the Auslogics Registry Defrag, some time ago it was freeware, but for the latest versions you must pay about $20. So this is a good alternative to that stuff as well.

In conclusion I think it's very similar to other commercial products, like the Ashampoo WinOptimizer, which does almost the same, but Glary Utilities has a cleaner and more simple interface, so that everyone, including those who use this kind of software only occasionally, can enjoy it, without issues. On the other hand computer professionals have some professional modules at their disposal, such as the file shredder which removes files without any trace, very good for removing sensitive data before you sell your old computer. No one will ever recover your documents or photos, or passwords!!

As an übernerd, I'm always testing optimization tools. And they all fail. All I say, fail! That is sad. Very very sad. For it means I always have to turn back to my old love, that all-known TuneUp Utility, which is free for version 2010. So this is what I do now; I get a legal TU 2010 for free & I install Soluto with fcleaner (I'd prefer Zappit, but it's auto-clean at startup, well... It does not work). This basically makes a custom TU 2011 - which is great for disabling software etc.

Still, I'm not happy. It's the same ol' nasty setup I've playing around with for years...

I want something new, something fresh, something that actually works.

Therefore, I propose a date. If I like you, we will do "IT". If I don't like you... I'll keep you installed and let you watch me playing with other toolsets : P

Simple and slick software. Not the most complete I've used to date, but good enough for the average user. I could use a free PRO copy too =)

I have never entered or posted anything on the internet with intentions of winning something or getting anything for free. I tend to be a bit skeptical when it comes o the internet and "Get-something-for-Nothing" deals. I can say, with complete confidence that I: a) Trust softpedia (as have been using this site since I discovered it in 2006-7, and it is the first dial in my 200+ (Firefox add-on) Speeddial windows. The other is b) Glary utilities is the only program of it's type (All-in-One Utilities) that I use and feel completely safe using. When it comes to programs of this type; for me, the question isn't as much, "Will it clean my pc properly" as much as, "Will it take away too much (i.e.-System Files, dll's I use, etc). After trying several, it was between IOBit's "Advanced System Care" and "Glary's Utilities". Time and time again I found Glary's to be a much safer and more reliable program...with much better utilities. i am use free virsion But nt satisfied agenst iobit Advanced SystemCare 4. Advance system care 4 is great.

Used its earlier full version & was really fond of its speed of optimizing with total disk solution. specially one click maintenance because of that all registry to disk problem can be short out at once. thanks for this giveaway, hope to win & use this awesome product once again.

easy to use i like this programe

One of the issues with Windows is after a period of time, it begins to slow down. I have used the free variant of this software, and it has helped tremendously in bringing things back up to speed. I am sure the pro version will do an even better job.

My personal favorite is Atf cleaner. It cleans up without a hassle.

It has defrag and start up manager like any XP OS. There's also the likes of Task Manager and system info.

I first encountered Glary Utilities while working on a remote resolution project at a former employer. We used Glary to clean up machines used by tax preparation professionals. It functioned flawlessly and efficiently during the entire pilot program. I have used it ever since both on my own PC and on any I have worked on. I've been using Glary Utilities for about 3-4 years now, it is one of my must have programs (along with MSE, Malwarebytes, and SuperAntiSpyware). I have had no problems with it at all and highly recommend it. It usually is overshadowed by CC Cleaner, etc but does the job for me.

Theese days i'm usying Glary Utilities free and i decided to keep that one after i proved System Mechanic, WinOptimizer Pro, Tuneup Utilities,CC Cleaner and Advanced System Care. Between all those programs i need one that is FAST, CLEAN and REPAIR EVERYTHING, DON'T ruin shortcut's or registry, CUSTOMAZABLE, and most of all...lol...don't get bossy when says...i do all the job, the other competition programs do less than mine...
Glary is faster than the other programs, much faster, specially on SSD HDD's but don't clean all temp files and browsers cache like other programs do.
I kept this one because he balance very well the speed with the job it has to do. Good job programmers and keep on.

If You want to have clean and fast pc You need to take care of him. Ofcourse You can do this manually ( good luck :) ) but You can use toll like Glary Utilities - and here start the serious fun, it is like magic wand, You press button and the magic start, Your system is lighter and faster, all Your private data are secure, no one will see where You been in internet and what You do - privacy cleaner module will take care of it. Have also been using the free version for some time. It's very easy to use (not a big issue for me seeing I'm a experienced windows user), and the interface is clean. Operates quicker than many commercial programs in the category, exept for TuneUp Utilities which I also use. And the optimizations seems to speed op the system more noticably than other programs. (Exept again for TU2011, sorry!) But in my book one of the essential apps for a well functioning PC.

I've been using System Mechanic and TuneUp Utilities since their first versions, but recently I uninstalled them all, it seems one of them corrupted quite badly my registry...I'd be happy to give this one a try too, never heard of this piece of sw, though, until now :)

I really love glary file spliter and joiner. The addition of an antispyware scanner is also a big plus point. IT does a remarkably wonderful job of cleaning the pc. Glary Utilities has a snobby, nearly-identical twin--Advanced System Care. While Glary is what a utility program should be, which is hard at work, Advanced System Care is too busy looking good, and trying to get people to notice its "pro"version. Both programs offer almost the exact same features, but Advanced System Care lacks a couple that I like--file encryptor and file splitter.

Glary is my kind of program. Just meat and potatoes. All that Advanced System Care bling (example: the Turbo Boost function, a "pro" feature which is completely useless) is a bit much for my taste. ASC can keep its Turbo Boost and Dom Perignon-class GUI. I'll take a six pack of Glary Pro any day ;)

This is I like this website. It not only provides the latest downloads but also offers givaways on regular basis. Softpedia simply rocks. I have used free version of Glary Utilities and found it very helpful. I would definitely like to have a full version of this great software.

Oh! here I think everyone has used the free version. The same case is with me. I use Glary Utilities free and also carry its portable version in my usb to optimize my friend's computers. I also recommended them to check it once. Glary's interface is very neat & clean and best of all its extremely easy to use. It does actually what it is meant for. I kept it in my system and liked it using forever because unlike other utilities like TuneUp and IObit Advanced System Care, it is not at all heavy on system resources, does not cause any kind of problems or unnecessary pop-ups, does not hang or fail to work. It does its job quietly without any interruption to other programs or me while working. Its very fast and it has all the utilities that are required to optimize and maintain a system, its every tool is important in its own way and vital to system optimization while its cleaning system does not work to the extent it should work. So I use CCleaner and File Cleaner Pro to clean my system in one click within 6 to 7 seconds but Glary Utilities is still good for me. Yes, I like its defragmentator which is better than the one in WinUtilities. If one don't want to install it, can use the portable version. Even if I don't win the Pro version, no matter, I will continue using the free one because it works best for me. Thanks for the giveaway! :)

I've used the software on and off over a number of years, primarily in the free version and I have a hard time distinguishing what it does really well. It has been solid but not exceptional. Doesn't do damage as some other similar type of software might and has a good reputation for not doing harm. I would recommend it as a good solution for keeping things cleaned up but there are several other products like TuneUp Utilities that will do many of the same things and it is hard for me to tell which is really better. I'd love to try out a license for the paid version.

i have used the free verson to help out all my friends to fix problems i have recomened this to all of them i love this.... makes solving problems so EZ..

I am using its free version currently. and its works pretty good. glary is best in shortcut fixing and empty folder finding. Registry cleaner need to be scan deep for its errors.

i face only problem when I have use its file shredder on one avi file directly by clicking right on file and select file shredding from context menu. It wipe of my graphics drivers.
However if i select file from the program shredding menu, such errors not accrued. I dont what the problem.

But overall its best to make PC errors free.

I have long been familiar with the program. For several years I have been using Glary Utilities Freeware.
And now there is meaning and the chance to test the full version.
Glary Utilities PRO it is flexible and very powerful program for full control over your computer and optimize it work.
The program can certainly compete with the "monsters" as TuneUp and Auslogics BoostSpeed.
On my computer, installed all the three above mentioned " competitors".
Glary Utilities PRO gives you five very powerful modules for controlling the computer: Clean Up & Repair, Optimize & Improve, Privacy & Security, Files & Folders and System Tools.
In my opinion this is quite enough. In addition, each module is written very well and excels at work.

Glary Utilities is known in general as one of the most complete and trustful "all in one" computer maintenance packages available, together with Advanced System Care, TuneUp Utilities, Ashampoo WinOptimizer, Desktop Maestro, WinUtilities, Ultimate Windows Tweaker and some other ones not as complete but also very useful like Belarc Advisor, CCleaner, Sandra, Everest and maybe some other ones that I probably missed seeing on my Utilities folder. I have Glary v. 2.18 - a two years old version from GAOTD, which means un-updatable. The only difference I can see is that the new version has under the system tools a System Information option. Anyway, new versions are always welcome, especially if they are updatable. These jack-of-all-trades but master of none utilities must be used with care. Why? Because just that - the software is not specially designed for just one or two jobs. It offers many of them and all of them are sort of so-so! Glary doesn't have a file defragmenter, which is a BIG miss for an utility program. But on the other hand, it has a file encrypter and decrypter, and file splitter and joiner, which are uncommon for this kind of software. The functions I use most frequently are the disk analysis and the duplicate finder. It does a reasonable job in them. Their junk files cleaner is somewhat too aggressive and before I regret accepting its suggestions I prefer to use CCleaner. Please count me in.

first I've read about Glary Utilities in an article about best freeware around. I tried it and it was love at first sight... never even thought that my computer can live without it.... still using the freeware version

I got a new computer a couple of months ago, and decided not to risk using numerous free cleaners, but rather, to wait until I found an opportunity to obtain a free licence for a proven winner such as Glary Utilities Pro. Hello, Speaking of Glary Utilities; I have been using the program ever since I started using a computer about seven years ago!!! A new PC or a wipe out {after learning from mistakes} Glary Utilities was/is the first security program I download! Love it, wouldn't be without it! I think it is time to upgrade and I won't have to wait for an expire notice and yes I have tried the Glary Utilities Pro program some time ago and liked it but didn't get to learn all of its full features....Thank-You for such a reliable AND dependable program!!!

I have used Tune-up Utilities for years, I have tried Glary utilities for a week and I love it, light on resources, does a Fantastic job with Registry and this app gives you control over what you want to accomplish and accomplish is just that, I might not even use ccleaner anymore this is the best of those 2 apps in 1. Well.., I'm gonna be honest about this,
I didn't like it.
I mean it's good to have all those optimization options under one roof "your software" , but I have seen a similar thing before in other software i.e -Tuneup utilities, Norton utilities- "which I didn't like either by the way".
though I gave it a try and started with the startup manager, then oops I got and error (access violation at address ###### in module 'XXXXXX.bpl'. read of address ######.) "I've a screenshot if you're interested".
well.., that's it I'm not taking any chances, and this is me uninstalling.
Thank you anyway, I mean you've put some great efforts there, greetings.
P.S the UI is not so fancy I would've kept it if it had some shiny or glossy stuff.

glary utilities is great, i can run the 1-click optimizer on schedule times automatically, so the software can take care of my pc constantly. all other utilities also useful. it has some skins too, nice, but maybe a few more skins will be a great addition. registry defrag can compact my registry by a few percentage, quite useful.

i never used glary utilities before...but i heard of it 2-3 times from my friends..
now, after using it for 5 days i am very impressed by this software package....i like it so much that i suggest it to all of my friends..and some of them already starts using it...

registry defrag...bcoz it makes registry tuned and help in improving pc speed

registry cleaner...bcoz it free-up hard disk space and help increasing performance of pc by removing junk from registry

shortcut fixer...i liked it just bcoz it solved a old problem with an icon on desktop

uninstall manager... i liked it bcoz it list every single program installed on my pc...even plugins and updates and hot fixes...

file shredder... bcoz it feels me safe and secure...i can delete any file frm my pc permanently

file encrypter/decrypter... i just love this part...

duplicate finder and empty folder finder... they are the new things that i seen in any utilities pack...

all other utilities are also good...but above are the ones i like the most...

The internet speed in my area is poor. Using this app i can close unnecessary application which consumes major part of my bandwidth. Also this application will boost my pc speed and prevents system from hang.

After downloading uniblue registry booster and paying for it i thought i had the program i was looking for.
Then just in the middle of repairing my brother-in-laws notebook (asus f5r) i came across "GLARY Utilities" so i downloaded the free version and upon 1st usage i was pleasently surprised to find all the individual scans,registry repairs,shredders etc etc............. available the complete p.c. optimization program i've found ABSOLUTELY FREE.

I have used Glary Utilites some time ago (Free Ver.) i was very impressed, Disc Cleaner, Registry Cleaner, Starup Manager, EmpyFolders/Shortcuts Fixer , All tools in One Place, Not only this, Glary Utilites (Portable) is a Software that is always in my USB Drive, So here is a Quick Review, (Of Some Weeks Ago)

It is very nice and useful program to keep the PC in healthy condition. Many of these types of cleaning and optimization utilities are not much useful as they cannot perform the task completely. The program is easy to use and nice interface to me.

First, thank you for this opportunity to get a valuable software for free.
At present, I am using the free version of Glary Utilities. What I like about this software is, the effective 'Tracks Cleaner' and the Registry Cleaner, though I use some other tools occasionally.
One thing, the registry cleaner has never caused any problems on my PC. It's pretty straightforward to use. I am very finicky about registry cleaners, since they can destroy a PC. That is the reason why I really prize myself in 'discovering' this utility more than 2 years back.
Tracks cleaner is also great since it's one of the utilities which can delete the so-called 'Super Cookies'. I have confirmed this on my PC atleast; CCleaner fails to delete them for example. Basically, I am one of those who firmly believes in deleting Internet caches completely everytime I use it.

Honestly, I do not use all the tools present in this suite. But I have used the PRO version via Dottech.org giveaway from last year. Since it was a 1 year license, it has now expired.
The point which I liked in the PRO version is, it's scheduled tasks [one of them is automatically added after installing, which is erasing tracks on logging on/off PC] are pretty unobstrusive. It just does it's job without fanfare and there are no extra background running services [unlike in TuneUp Utilities for example]. I confirmed this via Task Scheduler logs over 1 year - though I may have missed 'seeing' such an event - but really, I never saw any 'Stopped' or 'Failed' status.

Since this feature helps in privacy & scheduling being avialable only in PRO edition of Glary Utilities, it'll be great to start using it once again. Over a period of time, it has been dependable too. I will use it on my ageing Windows Vista PC, which I intend to keep running for a few more years.

I used quick startup for years and i found it really good. It removed unnecessary programs from starting with windows and my computer was a lot faster. Being a free program if it did this then what would the paid version do. So out of curiosity i clicked the upgrade now button and it took me to their website , this was the first time i heard about this program. I went on to check the features and i was satisfied.

I thought it would be better to get a trial and i downloaded it and installed it. It was quite fine. It had all the common tools that a computer needed. I also liked the simple interface without any confusing popups.

The price was also reasonable.

I tried many of its features.

Good features :
-process manager to identify detailed info about programs
-Startup manager to add or disable progs from starting or delay their starting
-memory defrag/ cleaner
-Program uninstaller to clean install progs or forcibly remove the stubborn ones
-disk cleaner to remove unwanted temp files and junks
-registry tools to repair/defrag/clean the registry
-context menu manager to customize the context menu
-track eraser to securely delete history and other privacy related data
-file shredder to securely delete files
-duplicate/empty files finder
-file splitter / joiner for easy transport of files either through web or other storage devices
-file encrypt/decrypt for safe storage or transfer of files
-file undeleter to recover accidentally deleted files
-and other shortcuts to windows default tools

so this utility has really good collection of tools and it is worth for its price.
Sure hope i would win a license for this.

Been using this piece of software for many years now. And found it to be very useful and finding problems that ASC 4 (Free) failed to pick up. A very useful weapon in my arsenal in keeping problems at bay. And should be in everybody's arsenal as well.
