Ad-Aware Pro is a full-blown security product designed to offer comprehensive malware protection, which features a real-time security layer as well as an advanced rootkit removal system.
The Ad-Watch component makes sure that malicious processes are prevented from running on the system, protects the access rights to sensitive areas of Windows Registry and it can also block any connection to an IP on Lavasoft’s block list.
However, keeping your system safe from malware is not all Ad-Aware pro can do. The product includes a “Toolbox” section, which contains the right instruments to handle startup items or check out running processes.
