Quitely a brilliant piece of software. Having a low speed connection, the buffering is really annoying. Would be great to have a Premium software like this to get rid of this. The support for 100s of websites is worth noticing. Hoping that I will get to use a highly desirable application like this.

I haven't seen many for accelerating streaming videos. Tried an alternative app many years back but it came bundled with adware that I had to remove from the registry. Didn't improve the streaming speed either.

But SPEEDbit Video Accelerator has no such issues, except that it offers to install a toolbar and change your home-page during installation, bbut you can un-check the option. Video acceleration worked fine for me on a 2 mbps connectionfor youtube videos.

The only complaint I have is that, it runs in the background and has a start-up entry by default. It would be great if it was an run-on-demand application.

Wow this is a very good software I had been using the free version for a time being it is extremely useful. It really does accelerate the youtube video buffering speed up to 3 time faster than the normal speed though I can only buffer normal video (HD video buffering only available for Premium). Please count me in for this one. I have used the free version and like it a lot to often watch online videos from sites like DailyMotion and YouTube.

I downloaded this product to see how it would work. Was not impressed as it was actually slowing the system down. Trying to uninstall the program was an absolute nightmare. I finally had to resort to using macrium reflect to store the computer to a earlier time.

I am living in a country where the bandwidth is in a snail pace and watching videos from youtube is always a problem either videos buffer and stop after 5 minutes or it buffers forever,then I discover SPEEDBIT video accelerator from softpedia and it works amazing it is really fast,but after few months of using this program it slows down it shows accelerating but it is not as fast as before,I am using the free version,and I still believe that it is working even it is a free version,maybe the premium version would make a big difference.

speedbit is easy to install amd easy to use, when it accelerate its very exciting to watch its acceleration graphics,colorfull and well designed,but it must solve buffering problems for dialup users,because these ype of softwares are much want by dialup users.may be free version not so helpfull but premium may solve dialup usears problem.

All this software does is to increase the maximum data transfer bandwidth limit of the server aimed at the user's ip address. So basically its like a pipe. Speedbit opens up multiple pipes from the server and join them midway to increase the size of the pipe i.e the total amount of data coming to the user's pc. But unless one has a high speed internet bandwidth on his pc (to be able to handle the combined pipes output), its no use. User's pc internet connection being the tap on the pipe's end. Bigger tap....more water ('data' in this case).

Good:
1. Small setup size
2. Small foot print on HDD (8Mb)
3. Video streaming is uniform with no glitches.
4. No glitches for up to 3 videos from youtube.
5. Good stream for 3 video sites checked: youtube, vimeo, dailymotion

Bad:
1. While installation, tries to install Video Downloader with Search Predict. Could be unchecked.
2. While installation, sets homepage to SPEEDbit Search. Could be unchecked.
3. Does not cleans temp files after installation.
4. Streaming falls to glitches if you have more than 5 videos streaming in parallel (along with a heavy download in background).

Speed bit Video accelerator is good but it is only worth when you have a decent broadband connection.If you have a 512 kbps broadband you will not experience much changes in speed but if you have "2 mbps or more" speed plan you will surely feel and see a lot of difference in internet videos streaming speed,the videos played without buffering and even 2-3 videos can run smoothly in parallel.It also has a video downloader toolbar which can also download the video that you are watching.I like this soft.So please count me in.Hope i win.

I have a terrible connection which breaks up many times and its speed is highly oscillation. Sometimes it rises to several mbps and sometimes it stays in few kbps. So with this troublesome connection, i have never been able to enjoy what i like( online tv,movies and videos).

With DAP i managed to have good download speeds at constant rate, but i still had a problem. It is when i re-installed DAP that i noticed about this software in the optional downloads. I found it as really unique as before i tried several keywords in google to find a solution for this but none was satisfactory. But this was truly new.

I cant say that we can enjoy break free and smooth playback of all the videos but it does what it says. Before having it i had buffering problems even when playing a low def video but it all changed with the use of this splendid app, truly unique in its kind as i didnt find any other app dedicated to this category.

It is also programmed well to do its job consuming less memory. It seemed they used the same approach as that of their download manager to download simultaneously. It also supports all the sites which i use regularly including youtube . A good product does what it says but creates conflict with iTunes Store which needs to be looked into.
