First i would like to thanks Softpedia for the great giveaway.
Actually i am not interesting in winning a free license UNLESS it is valid for the v9.5 of Ad-Aware Anti-virus, Why? because since i moved to the latest version (v10), my laptop has slowed down to a crawl: freezes, high CPU usage and noticeable boot time increase! although the installation process went very well and i don't have any other security product installed!

I'm running on an i7-3630 with a 7200rpm HDD and had no problems with the old version, all tasks was running smoothly. I want the lighter, faster and simpler version back!! where can I download the older version 9.5?

I need Ad-Aware because I'm currently using a free antivirus which only offers some basic protection. The features of Ad-Aware like firewall, AV & antispyware will give my pc comprehensive protection against threats and malware for peace of mind. Thanks.

Softpedia, Outstanding giveaway. Thank you. I am awed by the variety of protection offerings in the Pro version. You get good, but rather standard protection real-time protection elements, firewall and download protection and automatic threat updates. Nothing very unusual about them, and all are available in many freeware packages. The real bonus Lavasoft has provided is in the additional features in Ad Aware. Imagine having Malware Sandbox Emulator (a bit like Sandboxie), External Storage Scans (important to me with my 4 external harddrives), e-mail protection (similar to mailwasher), identity protection and the shop & bank online safely. While I can find all those features on the market today, I would be hard pressed to get them all in a single integrated package. Lavasoft has extensive experience in the world of protecting users and has obviously put a great deal of thought and effort into this version of Ad-Aware. Ad-Aware is one of the greatest security suite. I heard about how effective and good at cleaning any viruses or malware that harm your system (antivirus engine powered by vipre, right ?).

The interface looks cool but i don't know about this Ad-Aware performance (but some of my friend (they're using Ad-Aware free version) told me, Ad-Aware have a great performance and not slowing down their system at all).

With that good reviews that i heard, i would really like to win Ad-Aware Pro Security to protect my notebook from any viruses and malware that could harm my system.

Adaware? Surely that's the product that you'll trust to protecting your pc security!

It use low system resource , gui is also good .....but detection rate is not good........it has the essential layer of protection and do not create problem with other programs....... there is lots of space for improvement and the developer should do that to sustain in market where the big players like kaspersky, bitdefender,fsecure etc. are doing excellent in case of detection,protection,removal........ although I hope they will improve their product and this company is well reputed.. finally according to me it provide better protection than some free antivirus and if any one is planning to switch from free to paid then they can try this...... customer support is really good.... so best of luck to the winners of that giveaway ( I hope they will be happy with it) and to the developer of Lavasoft ...... :)

I've been using the adaware free version for a couple of years, Ive installed and uninstalled other products just to check to see if they perform better. Adaware has been improving continuously as I have followed this software from when it started. Now I believe it is on par with other software giants. I wish Adaware good luck and hope I get to use it for sometime before deciding to pay.

I think it is complete set of protection having all the features as expected from good security software. Missing parental control feature, hope to come in feature version. One great feature of this security software is Automatically skips scanning files that were determined safe in earlier scans, resulting in much faster scans. This is what i always thinking and want because every full scan takes lot of time and high resources , so this is great feature it will decrease scanning time. one more thing is that it is compatible with other antivirus.
I would like to protect my PC from Ad-ware security.

I have no clue how this application is, compared to others, because I have not used it ever, but I consider the creators have impeccable track.

I used the Ad-Aware antispyware years ago, and it's good to learn that now it build-in with antivirus/firewall too & doesn't slow down the machine.

Also in personal tests I done on free version got high score in the protection filed and the paid version perhaps will be even more powerful. What can you add, to make people aware of the best anti-maleware program there is.

I love the new Adaware (version 10 onwards) due to its lightness on my netbook, tablet and desktop PC. I also love the new rapid release cycle that Lavasoft are now using (updating every few weeks), which enables customers to recieve new features that protect them from up and coming threats quickly. The new interface is also so simple to use, even my gran knows how to use the program to the highest levels of its ability!

I am currently using the free version of the Adaware Antivirus, however I do alot of banking and shopping online and would therefore like to use the extra features of pro or personal to keep me even more safe!

I don't love any AdAware product. In fact, I hate them all from the bottom of my hateless soul. I hate the fact that they have to exist, but there's a need for that, and my last words are these - I hate AdAware products because they have to exist, but I love the way they get the job done, so I'd really enjoy one of those licenses! ;)
