Softpedia Games Giveaway: King Arthur, Sword of the Stars, Woody Two-Legs

Seeing as how our colleagues at the Windows section of Softpedia have been giving out codes for various software, we here at the Games department have decided to start our own thing by sharing a few codes for great Paradox Interactive titles: King Arthur: The Role-playing Wargame, Sword of the Stars Complete Collection, and Woody Two-Legs: Attack of the Zombie Pirates.

Up for grabs are three codes for each of the games mentioned above, and all you, the readers, need to do is leave a comment with the order of games you want the most as well as something interesting you made up about any of them.

For example, a comment might look like this, "1. Woody Two-Legs, 2. King Arthur, 3. Sword of the Stars. INSERT YOUR MADE UP STUFF HERE"

After seven days, we'll round up the comments and choose the 9 lucky winners, giving out the codes depending on what we have left and the order mentioned in the actual comment. We'll then send out the codes to the email address you used when leaving your reply.

Some of the codes are redeemable on Valve's Steam platform, while others can be had on GamersGate. In case you're not familiar with these titles, read on for a short description on each one.

King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame is a title we have already reviewed and found to offer a great strategy experience based on the famous legend of King Arthur and his roundtable of knights.

Sword of the Stars is a space-based strategy title where players can control their own ships through a rich and vast universe inhabited by various factions and races that don't always 'come in peace'.

Woody Two-Legs: Attack of the Zombie Pirates is a smaller downloadable video game, basing itself on the naval warfare of the new Pirates of Black Cove title, but offering a much lighter tone, with old Woody Two-Legs needing to protect his 'booty' from legions of Zombie Pirates.

The competition has ended and here are the lucky commenters who won our games. They've all been notified by email and are asked to check their inboxes or spam folders.

1. King Arthur 2. Sword of the Stars 3. Woody Two Legs Surprisingly enough each of these games takes place in the same universe and at the same time. If you look closely at each one they are all subtly interconnected, for example one of King Arthur's Knights is actually Sir Two Legs the Wooden. Thanks for the giveaway

First of all, thanks for this nice giveaway. I love softpedia, always nice pieces of software in the giveaway campaign. I'm looking forward to win one of these titles.

I'm mostly interested in Sword of the Stars, as I'm a great fan of Space-strategy games. I first got Homeworld 1 and 2, and I'd been playing for years :) Such great strategy games can only take place in space. This game is so much similar to Homeworld, but be even more exciiting. Then when I saw Sins of a Solar Empire, I was really amazed. The gameplay was so good and exciting, and quick. Now I'm really curios about Sword of the Stars. We'll see if I can get a code from you.

Woody Two-Legs, seems to be a medieval ship-shooter game, such as those space-platform shooters out there, but now instead of a space-ship, now you're on a ship, back on Earth, shooting other ships instead of aliens :). Isn't that lovely? I'd like to have a full version code for this one as well.

I hope I can have one of these 2 games :D

A very big fan of King Arthur due to the 90's cartoon about a team of American Football player accidentally time traveled and became the King Arthur and the Knight of the Round Table.... the title??? If I was not mistaken...of course King Arthur and the Knight of the Round Table. Really2 missed my childhood days mostly for the awesome 8o's cartoons.

Sword of the Stars and Woody Two-Legs: Attack of the Zombie Pirates seems like a fun games.. in short, thanks Softpedia for organizing this giveaway and hope I'm one of the lucky winners. Keep up the good works and keep the giveaways coming... cheers

Made up as in fake? Woody Two-Legs use to be John, an ordinary guy trying to make an honest living. One day Zombie Pirates raided his home... he survived but at the cost of everything he owned and his two legs. Making two wooden legs out of what was left of his house he adopted the name Woody and became a Pirate to hunt down the Zombie's and get his revenge. The game takes place after he got his revenge and stole the large "booty" the Zombies had collected... this of course ticked off the rest of the Zombie Pirates and so the war began.
