Microsoft Windows to this day hasn’t provided a full-fledged partition manager, so whenever you need to create / delete / resize / merge / split partitions, Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition is probably the best way to go. You can use it to switch from a Linux file system to a Windows file system, to set the active partition on a drive or even change the drive’s serial number.

Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition provides an accessible interface, that will make it easy for you to manage your hard drive’s partitions. First of all, in the main window you'll find a series of useful wizards that will allow you copy drives/partitions, extend partitions or migrate your operating system.

Here, if you simply click a partition, all of the above mentioned operations will become available. Of course, Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition isn’t all about partition management, you can also use it to copy, wipe or delete all partitions from a drive.

Furthermore, if you’re an experienced user, you can also use this app to perform surface tests, rebuild the MBR or convert it to GPT. To boost performance and lifespan of your disks, Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition will also allow you to align your partitions as you see fit.

While basic operations are also available in the program’s Free edition, features like MBR conversion or partition alignment are only available in the Professional edition, so we’re offering you the chance to win of the 50 Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition licenses, just by leaving a comment below and telling us how you would put this app to good use. The most convincing comments will be awarded via email with a full version of this software, so don’t forget to leave a valid email address.

It is clear that a disk partitioning software helps you manage your data on a disk .Amoie Partition Assistant Professional as i see it from pictures is going to do more than disk partitioning, like Migrate OS and recovery partition. Moreover it looks good for changing partition size, combining two adjacent partitions. Split partition and copy partition are new features.
In the last a less skilled person can use it easily for partition related tasks.

First of all, I really appreciate that you are offering the Professional version free of charge. I'm a pretty old user of AOMEI Partition Assistant Home Edition. Firstly I was really disappointed by softs like Partition Magic which no longer offers you support to the latest technologies out there, but also Acronis Disk Director which caused me a lot of headaches (losing my partitions, some of the data became unrecoverable after resizing my partition C:/ ).

AOMEI Part. Asistant is easy-to-use, features the latest technologies, and it can be run on any version of Windows. And to mention, the UI is clean, and you can quickly accomplish any task in a matter of seconds.

With Windows 8 UEFI Secure boot functionality, I was forced to convert my MBR partition table to GPT (otherwise it wouldn't boot at all), unfortunately this was not available in the free version :(. It may come really handy in the future if I could get one of these licenses, and do this on-the-fly, without the need to erase all the existing partitions.

I just missed the free giveaway offered by AOMEI then they launched version 5 of their suite... I was really sorry about that, but now I have another chance of getting the Pro version.

When are you going to announce the winners?

Almost a whole month has passed since the giveaway was published...

I could really use this software. I am currently in college trying to get my BSIT and know that this software could help in partioning my hard drive and protecting my information, i.e. school work etc. I would find it better to organize my information if I was able to use this software. I would like a copy of the Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition.

I would use this app to speed up my aging laptop by upgrading the hard disk to an SSD. I was dreading this task but after seeing Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition's Migrate OS to SSD or HDD feature, a sigh of relief came over me! Thanks Aomei!

Among internet techies Aomei has managed in quite a short period to establish its partition manager as a must-have tool.
Thanks you.

i think that this kind of software should be free of charge due to the limited number of usages. but it's a great tool to use when needed. i hope santa will bring one to me too.

as i love to browse internet everyday softpedia the site that i visit most reading about windows news and release of new softwares. i really need this partitioning tool because i want to do some perfect partitioning between my new windows 8 and windows 7 (need to install), i got a new Acer laptop that has pre-installed windows 8 but i realised that windows is not great and comfortable for my serious working condition so i decided to install windows 7 in my new laptop and also keep the windows 8 connected to my social networks and other cool stuffs. so the first step we need to partition the disk and i am bit afraid to do partitioning in some available free partitioning program because i fear that maybe my new shinny laptop goes wrong. so i will happy to get this trusted pro version. thanks to softpedia for this great opportunity .

Comment #9 by: nartan on 26 Dec 2012, 11:11 UTC reply to this comment

I like this program. Sometimes I like to install another OS, like Linux and Aomei Partition Assistant to create partitions. It's small, works fine and fast. I'm using the freeware version up till now.

Comment #10 by: Wibin on 26 Dec 2012, 13:51 UTC reply to this comment

I keep updating and upgrading my family's PCs and one of the upgrade paths are hd to ssd conversion. I usually use Linux for the job, but this sometimes leaves windows crippled and requiring recovery. The partition assistant would come handy in these simpler applications but also if I ever foray to the dual-boot system I used to have. Dual-booting from different HDs is the best idea, but partitioning maybe must now that I'm returning from Desktop to using a laptop as my main computer.

Cheers!

Aomei Partition Assistant Professional

With Aomei Partition Assistant Pro you can create, delete and edit partitions with only some clicks,
do this until your needs and partition table fits.

Its interface is simple and plain,
so you reach what you want to gain.

I would use it to create partitions with correct 4k alignment
under my old computer environment.

Correct alignment will speed up performance of the harddrive
and give it hopefully a long life.

Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition is handy in optimizing and managing hard disk.Count me in.

Comment #18 by: Ringo_PTPang on 27 Dec 2012, 01:53 UTC reply to this comment

Nowadays, hard disks with 3 or 4 TB are getting more and more common. As MBR don't allow a partition that is more than 2TB and GBT can handle a partition that is more than 2TB, Aomei Partition Assistant Professional provides a means to handle GBT. Hence, it suits the needs of more and more peoples. Moreover, it is able to convert the MBR to GPT. As I store a lot of multimedia files in my hard disk. I need a hard partition that is larger than 2 TB. It helps me to solve my problems in a graphical, fast and efficient way while the methods provided by windows is so clumsy.

All free partition tools that I know have some limitations so a partition manager without any restrictions would be very useful to me so that I could resize and make some new partitions on my hard drive in order to make my drive neat and tidy and install some Linux distributions.

Comment #22 by: NRL on 27 Dec 2012, 20:09 UTC reply to this comment

Hi, I would love this software because I have 4 hard drives with several versions of Windows and Linux. This would be very useful to have. Thanks, NRL

Thanks to offer a full professional version free of charge.
With the use of 4 OS, a serious partition assistant is required and AOMEI Partition Assistant seems easy-to-use. I will soon install Windows8, SSD and HDD 3TB, this tool will be very useful to migrate, to correct alignment and to convert MBR to GBT.
Thanks Softpedia and Aomei for this giveaway.

Great piece of software, I'd really like to get my hands on it, especially since I'm not an average Joe - I usually use a SSD+HDD+external HDD at home, while at work I'm rocking a SSD RAID AND a HDD RAID in the same system, grabbing the best of each world. Awesome!

Comment #27 by: Edmund on 30 Dec 2012, 16:29 UTC reply to this comment

I have tried to partition my hard disk only by reformatting the whole hard disk.
this serve as a good alternative as i have never try one before.

Comment #28 by: Takeda on 31 Dec 2012, 06:18 UTC reply to this comment

For me, Aomei is the best partition manager tools. If you ask "WHY"? Then I would proudly answer : It because Aomei provide everything we need. And I believe it's the best partition manager, I've ever used. Aomei make "not expert user" has ability to maintain their own hdd, since Aomei make it so simply to use.

With Aomei Partition Assistant we can :
1. Move/Resize the partition.
2. Move/Copy/Wipe/Delete
3. Surface Test
4. Change the align of our partition.
5. And much more.

I love Aomei, than the other Partition Manager.

Cheers,
Takeda.

Comment #37 by: zeusz4u on 10 Apr 2013, 13:11 UTC reply to this comment

Have you already announced the winners? I was wondering when I could get my license key from one of those 50 you have... there are just 36 posts in total... so I guess I would be one of the winners :) I also posted comment on the other AOMEI program (Dynamic Disk Manager Pro), there are also few comments over there.

Is there a possibility to share the existing licenses between those who already posted?

Comment #38 by: Sraul90 on 20 Apr 2013, 18:06 UTC reply to this comment

I would like to join this giveaway for one of the licenses for AOMEI Partition Assistant Pro Edition 5.1. There are a lot of partition software's out there and there are also some who have been promising the best solutions for the MBR conversion but our company experience points to Aomei as a stand-out product. Previously we were using Acronis products from 2009 and when it was time to upgrade our tech suggested to try out Aomei for our hard disk needs. Though staff were kinda jittery about it they tried it out whenever there was a need to do some partitioning / mergiong and cloning drives. We were surprised this new app can do it all and the price was low also. The speed of cloning was also okay and at par with Easeus/MimiTool's! Wow to that huh! Anyway tinkering with MBR conversions is tricky and sometimes you may end up with a busted drive so the techs o that for us. And what did they say?...They like it too. So I'm here joining this giveaway so I could have one for my own home/family :)
