For each snap, there are editing possibilities, which include adding notes, drawing shapes, cropping regions or highlighting certain elements. The list of shapes makes available rectangles, and ellipses, which can be filled with color or shadowed.
Furthermore, StepShot can grab the entire screen, the active windows or a specific region. Any item in the project can be re-arranged or deleted very easily.
You can also import images from your computer. The result can be sent online through sharing options: Dropbox, FTP or email.
