There are plenty of backup solutions on the market, both free and paid. Today we’re offering 50 free licenses for Backup4all Pro. Those already familiar with the application already know that it is a complete solution for backing up your data.
The catch is that you have to post a comment that stands out of the crowd at the bottom of this article. If you want to increase your winning chances you should drop some witty lines in the comments section below. Backup4all Pro, reviewed here, is priced $49.95 (€39.54) and is both versatile in terms of functionality and easy to use as far as handling is concerned. It is designed to protect your data from partial or total loss. The highlights of the feature set include backup and restore wizards that let you carry out the jobs in a comfortable manner. The application also comes with support for version tracking, a feature that allows you to view multiple versions of the same file. Backup4All Pro sports standard ZIP compression to archive the data and can work with packages larger than 2GB by appealing to ZIP64 technology. Encryption is available through AES 256-bit algorithm. The built-in scheduler lets you define tasks to start automatically at a certain time in a specific day. Command-line support extends the functionality, as you can use it to set actions to be performed before or after carrying out the backup job. Active promotions are available at this addressNote: The winners will be picked from the comments section of this article, and will be contacted in 5 days after the giveaway expires. They will have to provide their full name in private (when required) in order to collect their prize. No other information, except your comment and the alias / nickname you provide, will appear online. We urge you not to double post and, most importantly, be original because pasting from different sources on the Internet will get you kicked from the giveaway campaign.

| Comment #8 by: Sid_7 on 23 Dec 2011, 14:47 UTC | reply to this comment | Hmmm.
Very frankly, I just came to know that I won a license for Backup4all Pro, from the Softpedia giveaway in September 2011. So, do I need another one?
YES, YES!
Why?
Because of the new second PC. I will be using the already won Backup4all Professional license on my Windows 7 PC [yet to get the code as I've just sent my confirmation email..]. But there is still the ageing Windows Vista PC, on which I am using Backup4all Lite. I really love Windows Vista, because it came preloaded on my first PC.
As I have already stated back in September, Backup4all Lite is little more than a folder syncing tool & incremental/differential backups available in Pro edition give you unparalleled flexibility.
Another thing which I add this time, is Softland [the vendor] updates the software rather slowly. It simply means that if I get the license from today's giveaway - I'll be running Backup4all V4 for atleast 1 year, since V5 is surely a bit far off [Ofcourse, we'll surely have some Softpedia giveaway again if & when V5 is released].
"Slow" is definitely not a disadvantage in any respect - the program is nearly perfect. There must be very few bugs, if at all that is; I have never encountered any issue with Backup4all Lite for example.
So, the bottom line is, I am seriously interested in getting a license for Backup4all Pro! |

| Comment #14 by: y4590w2 on 23 Dec 2011, 16:20 UTC | reply to this comment | I especially like the backup plugins with Backup4all. They are very helpful when I have to restore system image. All my program settings can be instantly restored with Backup4all plugins. It's a real time saver.
I have Backup4all lite and could make good use of the professional version. I especially like the backup to CD/DVDs, the desktop shortcuts to backup jobs, the running of backups at system shutdown, and incremental backups - all very useful features and only included in the professional version.
Please count me in for the professional version and Merry Christmas! |
| Comment #15 by: Wasiullah on 23 Dec 2011, 16:53 UTC | reply to this comment | Backup4all is easy to use and more efficient for users b4all is taking backup of all data in few min and also restore in few and taking backup with small amount HDD memory b4all is compressing the data in small amount and before and after it's takes system restore

| Comment #17 by: Safiullah on 23 Dec 2011, 16:58 UTC | reply to this comment | Backup4all is an award-winning data backup software for Windows. This backup utility was designed to protect your valuable data from partial or total loss by automating backup tasks, password protecting and compressing it to save storage space. This backup application is feature rich and offers an intuitive interface making all features easily accessible for both beginners and professionals. Using Backup4all you can easily backup to any local or network drive, backup to FTP (with support for SSL encryption, proxy server, passive mode), backup to CD/DVD, or other removable media (such as USB drives). Our backup utility performs all four backup types: full backup, differential backup, incremental backup and mirror backup. Using the wizard you can easily set up any backup configurations you wish. You can define powerful file filters and schedule your backups any way you want. Once a backup is performed, you can see what files changed since the last backup using the explorer-like tree view or you can read the statistics about the next backup execution. |

| Comment #44 by: koj on 26 Dec 2011, 10:59 UTC | reply to this comment | Backup4all Professional is a great backup product for home or even for your office server backup. I know how important backup is these days, just about everything we do on a computer needs to be backed up in some way. The flexability with Backup 4 all Pro is the different backup options I have with the product like to do a full backup and also incremental backups which save a lot of backup disk space and the other addition options available make this an exception backup product for anyone. |
| Comment #45 by: Tom on 26 Dec 2011, 21:58 UTC | reply to this comment | Its really difficult when your computer crashed and you did not have a backup. I had already experienced when all my files are gone and you did not have a backup at all. It would really be a great help for me to have this software. Hoipe to grab one of the licenses. Thanks in advance... |
| Comment #46 by: LittleBiG on 27 Dec 2011, 20:55 UTC | reply to this comment | Backup4all is a really good product. I long for one license. |
| Comment #47 by: alex on 27 Dec 2011, 23:14 UTC | reply to this comment | Backup... this little word is always understimated, we think we'll never lose data, we say it won't happen to me but the truth is, it's not a matter of if, but a matter of when. So how to prepare to such event? there are many many backup applications but if we want a polished one which looks professional but not intimidating, which is maybe not feature complete but close to, which backups both file and the neglected Windows registry well, Backup4all is one of those applications. The only criticism is the per machine licensing, where a per user licensing would be much more customer friendly. But it takes nothing away from the good and engineering and technical point of view. I really hope to be lucky and win a license, thanks and happy now year to all :) |

3. I like you... SOFTPEDIA
