Backing up data in Microsoft’s Outlook email client can be a hassle for many users. Luckily, there are plenty of third-party solutions available on the market, ready to take on the task. For a limited time, you have the possibility to get such a tool for just $10 (€8.28): Outlook Backup Assistant Professional.

The application is regularly priced at $49.95 (€41.37) and, as its name suggests, is designed as an assistant for backing up Outlook data. It works with all versions of Outlook, from 2000 to 2010 and it is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.

Outlook Backup Assistant Professional allows you to back up everything important in the email client, from emails to data and settings. Thanks to the wizard-based interface, the application is extremely easy to use, as all you have to do is follow the steps and make your choices.

The application can create backup copies for PST-data files, which include emails, contacts, appointments, notes, filter rules, etc. OST files (exchange offline files) can also be handled by the program, per account.

The list of data that is backed up also includes program settings, Internet Explorer favorites, email nicknames and the Windows address book.

Outlook Backup Assistant saves the backup copy as a ZIP archive, which you can protect with a password. All content is encrypted with 256-AES algorithm.

If you need to run the backup procedure on a regular basis, the application comes with scheduling function for the task. Thus, it can run the job automatically, with no further input from the user.

Restoration of all the data is done in the same easy way.
