Prior to this, I have ever been serious at softpedia. But, now.....ok it is good too. I liked this aspect of softpedia team.
Most often I use to chat online with my friends by text, voice and video. But, I have not used any extra software for it yet.
Especially for video chat I had never used any extra softwares rather than webcam driver software. But today just recently I saw a wonderful and funny software, WebcamMax. There are a large numbers of effects and avatars. Though I am new to this software but it is easy to use without any difficulty. To make someone fool there is virtual webcam feature. The video recording feature is of great value. It is compatiable with almost all IM softwares. Really there is great fun with it.
But, apart from fun, it is also so important as well. Because, when we chat with new person or stranger then it is helpful to hide our real identity in order to be safe. Because we cannot have faith over unknown people as they can misuse or photo or video...
So, as a whole it is really nice to get one of the 50s...thanks

I'm interested in using this software. I recently bought a webcam, but honestly haven't found a reason to use it so far. Video calls are what I initially bought it for, but relatively low adoption rate of video calling makes video calling a chore for now. However, I have a personal blog that I wish to post various product reviews and walkthroughs. I believe this software will help in that regard and I hope I'll be gifted with license to help with my development efforts.

I've been looking for something for your web-camera, find something, but it was not good. And it has everything that my heart desires. Video recording, editing and all sorts of cool effects, I would be very grateful for 1 code. I hope to be among the 50 lucky winners.
The use of different effects will only give positive emotions and vary the communication on the web camera will be very fun to talk, but somehow boring to just look at the normal video from another computer.

It's the best program about webcam effects. first start is program you'll be asked if you want to set Webcammax as your MSN messenger and Camfrog default webcam. You should answer yes to both these dialogs, even if don't have these programs installed. Webcammax is compatible with any program that supports defining a video capture source and supports webcam sharing in up to 16 programs at the same time.

I had never heard of such kind of software. I just read the complete review of WebcamMax and really I'm gonna try it. I've even recommended it to my friend. I don't have a webcam but if I gets a free license then I'm gonna buy a webcam & use it for sure and then I'll be making a whackiest photo of mine & share it with my friends on Facebook..... WebcamMax is a good product. My kids use it with their Dell laptops in place of the Dell webcam software. They capture all kinds of funny pics with this, give us parents a good laugh.

WebcamMax is really a nice software that turns a laptop with camera into fun center. Nice feature is support for effects that can be downloaded. Not only it allows capturing images or videos with camera but also support streaming videos using virtual camera meaning that one can share any video in video chat.

Well, it's a different kind of software that softpedia usually offers in it's giveaways. However, it's another nice piece of software.

I can compare this one somehow, to the open-source Cheese application I've been using for a while now under openSuSe linux. Of course that one doesn't have this rich list of effects than WebcamMax.

I can see the UI is somewhat a MAC OS X style, but I really don't care about it, I like it so much. It's something different.

Well, about the results, they are pretty funny most of the time. :D I sometimes feel like I have nothing to do, then I remember that I have a webcam. And that's it. You can use your creativity to make out the most of this software, take a photo of yourself, apply some filters, then go ahead and print it, then show it to your family. You just make them laugh by showing them something funny.

I really like about the app that it supports most IM programs, so you can easily show you friends what you have just created :D.
