There are plenty of remote control solutions on the market, but most of them lack specific features. Radmin has been in the game for a long time and covers some pretty neat options. As usual, we have 50 codes to spare in exchange for interesting lines posted below this article.
If you want to make sure that one of the 50 codes reaches your inbox, make sure you come up with an original comment that will get our attention from what all the other posters are saying. Radmin, priced $49 (€37.10) for one remote PC, brings all the options you need for running remote control sessions comfortably. Besides simply giving you access to the remote screen, there is also the possibility to easily transfer data from one computer to another, through drag and drop. Text and voice chat ensures smooth communication with the user operating the remote computer. Besides letting you control the software part of a remote computer, Radmin also supports Intel AMT (Active Management Technology), which lets you control the remote PC even if it’s turned off. Multiple connections support and encrypted data transmission using AES 256-bit standard are on the feature list as well. Note: You have 24 hours to post your comment from the publish time of this article. Your chances to win one of the 50 free codes are only as good as your comment. So make your remarks as honest and witty as possible. The winners will be picked from the comments section of this article, and will be contacted in 5 days after the giveaway expires. They will have to provide their full name in private (when required) in order to collect their prize. No other information except for your comment and the alias / nickname you provide will appear online. We urge you not to double post and, most importantly, be original because pasting from different sources on the Internet will get you kicked from the giveaway campaign. | Comment #2 by: matroska on 17 Oct 2011, 11:36 UTC | reply to this comment | I guess I do not overdo it, but with this application I can help many people, my friends who often have trouble installing the software, my brother, who often complain of confusion using his laptop, I could help them all without having to lift my * and of course it would be nice, but saving time also saves my energy,
one thing I ask from you softpedia, do not tell this to my girlfriend because she would have reason to ask for more quality time with me while I still wanted more time to spend time with you |

| Comment #7 by: James2k on 17 Oct 2011, 12:08 UTC | reply to this comment | I have used RADMIN in the past and it has been an excellent tool. Even back in the day of Pentium 3's and 4's it performed better than Remote Desktop can today. It has the double advantage that the user can see what your doing so you can explain things as you go along. |
| Comment #8 by: wipster on 17 Oct 2011, 12:10 UTC | reply to this comment | Radmin basically gives you total control with very little lag on all of the desktops in your home environment. I can operate my Office Computer where I send out most of my music feeds using my Netbook while sitting on my deck, which is very handy. The screens are so clear that sometimes I've found myself operating the PC I'm viewing from on the PC I'm viewing! |
| Comment #9 by: numpayak on 17 Oct 2011, 12:13 UTC | reply to this comment | I tell you. I work with computer systems. Computer to take care of others. Office which is located on the 2nd floor staff will work together on the ground floor and first floor on the 3,4,5. Search the Time computers has a problem. I do not understand the telephone call, or if it is to explain. This requires me to walk a thin layer 1 to layer 3 up and down the whole day. I was hard at that. Working with networks outside the building. I must be out of place often.
I have been reading a lot more. Into the net. Meet more people. I heard the reputation of a program called Remote or a computer screen at a distance. The model used in the same LAN. To a different building, etc. I download a trial versions tested using many brands, but not desirable. until it was found that Radmin is the style that suits me most. Like most good possible.
Radmin's key functions is to help facilitate. The computer system administrator. Because the system will need to check the various machines. Radmin is will allow us to view the screens of other computers. From our own screen immediately. This one is different. With a plan to some employees, some people suspect. Every day I'm sitting here doing nothing. Mice and knock down any money yet to see any living game or not. It must be explained so that Our work ... 555
Some of that machine. I could see this machine. But after using Radmin program is open 10 screen at the same time, it is thanks a lot. Make life much more comfortable. |
| Comment #10 by: black wolf on 17 Oct 2011, 12:17 UTC | reply to this comment | I had tried a couple of others like VNC Free and for a rookie like me, I it was too confusing. Then I tried RADmin and BOOM it worked. Granted, by then I had figured out that I only needed the "viewer" on my remote PC but it was so simple. It works well and fast! |
| Comment #11 by: WID on 17 Oct 2011, 12:18 UTC | reply to this comment | I ever used the trial version of this, and my conclusion is: Very-very good software, very capable and very easy to use. Give me one license please! I do need this kind of software to give assistance to co-workers on my place. Thank you Softpedia and Teamviewer! |
| Comment #12 by: Ray on 17 Oct 2011, 12:20 UTC | reply to this comment | I never heard it, it looks like good software.

| Comment #15 by: MohdSharif71 on 17 Oct 2011, 12:32 UTC | reply to this comment | My Facebook account likes Softpedia and I think this concludes the story! |
| Comment #16 by: paddy on 17 Oct 2011, 12:34 UTC | reply to this comment | G'Day,
Wow, you guys are really putting in an amazing effort with yet another top notch giveaway.
I have used Radmin at a enterprise site that i worked IT Support for and it is really a fabulous bit of kit, that saved a lot of shoe leather (was several campuses located over a large physical area) as the days of SneakerNet are long gone and really you want to stay at the desk and handle problems from there (i know "what a lazy sod", but i got paid the same so why not).
We initially looked at many open source and freeware products, which worked, but really Radmin was the best choice, as it was quite efficient and worked well on low bandwidth situations, read quicker than the rest. The fact that it was a paid for application, it did add up to being somewhat costly, but we only placed the server application onto critical Servers and inportant end user machines, read Department Managers, Supervisors, CEO, CIO, CFO and various mission critical users, with this we could call on Famatech for support (company policy insisted on support).
As for myself i would love to get a licence for Radmin that would enable me to be able to connect back to my office PC remotely in an efficient and fast manner for those times where i really need to get a file or report that i need while out on the road, so please count me in for the possibility of a licence here.
Thanks.
Good Luck to All. |
| Comment #18 by: mezza on 17 Oct 2011, 12:37 UTC | reply to this comment | nice program, it's usefull for controlling my networking.. i already use real VNC, i think i can combine.. |

| Comment #20 by: Jono on 17 Oct 2011, 12:45 UTC | reply to this comment | I read a lot about this software and it prompted me to check the test version of the product. I'm very impressed with its usefulness, the most surprised me the work flow of the software on a slow connection to the network. Often, I help my friend solve their computer problems, with using this software could do this directly from the house without having to travel. With full access to the remote computer I can do almost anything, as if you were right in front of his monitor, connection between the stations is encrypted using a strong algorithm, so that everything is done safely. I would be very happy if I won this incredible software. Thank you, Softpedia for another great contest! |
| Comment #21 by: chandru on 17 Oct 2011, 12:46 UTC | reply to this comment | I had been curious to operate this software type morerver am doing a project on cloud computing i hope softpedia would provide me this giveawaway |
| Comment #22 by: irome25 on 17 Oct 2011, 12:48 UTC | reply to this comment | Great news from Softpedia, they never run out of great solutions most especially to the wide range of computer fanatics out there. Radmin not helping you to be remote but make your files closer as easy as drag and drop. Thank you Softpedia! |
| Comment #23 by: Joey sue on 17 Oct 2011, 12:52 UTC | reply to this comment | It would be nice to have a license, as i really need one for personal use :) |
| Comment #24 by: ReviewsAntivirus on 17 Oct 2011, 12:55 UTC | reply to this comment | Remote Administrator (Radmin also called) is a powerful, in relation to the Remote Desktop Connection is built into Windows, a tool for remote management and access to resources of other computers. Depending on the set in the program mode you can either watch the activities performed by the user's computer remotely to which we are connected, or take over operation of its system. There is also a file-sharing mode, which allows easy copying files from computer to computer like in the Explorer window system.
The main advantages and features of
- Allows you to remotely monitor or work on more than one computer on your network from a single workstation.

- The program does not require high bandwidth. 56k modem is fast enough to ensure the refresh rate of 5-10 times per second. The network offers a refreshing 100-500 times per second.
- The speed of the radmin program can be adjusted to ensure adequate bandwidth.
- High degree of safety is the result of using 128-bit encryption of all data flows.

| Comment #27 by: Anthony on 17 Oct 2011, 13:25 UTC | reply to this comment | I have three IT degrees and I'm looking at starting my own computer business. I would love to use this program as my remote administration program. Thanks for the giveaway and happy 10th anniversary. |
| Comment #28 by: Blake on 17 Oct 2011, 13:33 UTC | reply to this comment | I've always used the RealVNC free version, quite useful to sort-of just show up on my parent's computer and sort out the various issues. But it got so bad at one point I just ordered them a mac and had it shipped to them, just so I could get some sleep at night. Plus the interface, although quite good, was very slow at times and drove me nuts. However, one really groovy use was to open pictures I had sent them of my kids on their box and then do a screen grab from my end: the artifacts and general colour distortion made for some mightly fine effects, hard to do in Photoshop because the image parsed in and out according to bandwidth and machine resources. A series of one-of's resulted, they still look good on the wall. I've been thinking of getting a hold of some admin soft again, since the machine of my mother-in-law has been acting up on her, and she doesn't have the money for a mac (and no, I'm not going to spring again.) Dear Softpedia could indeed help me out with a groovy free licence on this item for I'm sure there is not a whole lot between the two softs and I'd be happy to switch allegiance to Radmin, a pretty nifty piece of soft my former employer used quite effectively. |

Working on projects far from my home country would greatly be made easy with this software. The personnel on the ground can receive my work in good time since we are in diferent time zones where being online at the same time is difficult. Radim is the way to go in todays digital world. This is a great software. |
| Comment #35 by: Daniel on 17 Oct 2011, 14:33 UTC | reply to this comment | I use this program for years and are pleased that he does not need large resources to operate and that it is very well optimized to run on any system. No doubt this program is unmatched in its class leader! With Radmin software the administrator of pc can monitor users' actions, as well as remotely perform certain operations, while even in another country. The program includes a set of topical functions, greatly simplifying the work of a manager and administrator, therefore it is really a solution for the IT and beyond ! |

| Comment #37 by: ha14 on 17 Oct 2011, 14:54 UTC | reply to this comment | If speed matters to you then go with Radmin, the soft enables you to control another computer on the same network or even over the internet from your own computer using your own keyboard and mouse.Radmin uses 256-bit keys for each connection and encrypts data streams. Each Server can assign different permissions for example, restrict control to just viewing the screen. Radmin increase productivity and collaboration over the net. For personal use or in companies Radmin is a great choice. |
| Comment #38 by: antonytony on 17 Oct 2011, 15:05 UTC | reply to this comment | A very useful software not only for system administrators but also for the common people and technicians in providing remote support. This is the first time i have heard of it so i gave it a try.
The name PC remote control software suits it well. It helps us to access any pc running its server process from a remote computer and offers full control.
I may not have used Radmin before but i have used another product from famatech "advanced IP scanner" and it gave me an impression that Radmin will be better and it really was.
It includes text and voice chats along with live monitoring so one can clearly understand the situation on the remote pc without having to be there.
It is highly secured, all its transactions are encrypted with 256-bit AES encryption standards so it is completely safe to transfer file and data. Also it has strong password protection systems which prevents the use of password crackers by delaying for every 5 incorrect passwords.
It is simple, and easy to use even by the beginners . All that is required is that the software is required on the computers and a connection has to be established by any means, through LAN or internet.
It is exciting and fun to use it. It is faster than products i have tried before. It uses their DirectScreenTransfer technology which makes it possible to capture video and send even with a low bandwidth connection.
Files can also be easily transferred between the connected computers.
I use Ubuntu frequently. It seems that Radmin viewer is compatible with wine, so we can also do all those marvelous things from a linux system.
Overall , it is a decently priced software with lifetime support and upgrades. It really is a nice piece of software. Thanks to softpedia for giving such a gift to your users on your anniversary.
As good as always............... |

| Comment #48 by: enigma on 17 Oct 2011, 16:12 UTC | reply to this comment | Radmin isn't based on vnc but it uses a similar server Its interface is more elegant than vnc, it starts up with a graphical "phonebook" of computers, rather than a bare request for an IP address, and you can scan for additional servers on your local network without having to know their details. It can't beat vnc on price - even there's no yearly charge. |
| Comment #51 by: drWoo on 17 Oct 2011, 16:47 UTC | reply to this comment | Very useful tool for an administrator, but for home users too! Currently I'm using UltraVnc and I hope to win a license of Radmin... Thanks for the giveaway! |

So I have long been trying and testing various options in search of a safe, secure and convenient remote control software.
I tested FreeSSHd, PuTTY, SSHync, UVNC, TeamViewer, ACMP, RealVNC, Hamachi and of course Radmin.
While I use the TeamViewer. Program often hangs, and sometimes works very badly. Of course i want to use for this purpose a reliable, serious, and the best software. That is so Radmin.

| Comment #74 by: cipriansorin on 17 Oct 2011, 20:13 UTC | reply to this comment | Radmin is the best news to my sister ears. She lives in some other city, and she is always having something to fix with some mighty docx documents that she cannot open or some 7 zip files that she doesn't know how to handle. Over the phone is always funny (and frustrating) to determine what the root of the problem is. Having a remote program to deal with this problems will get me a big slice of pie all the time when I am getting by her place. A full stomach makes a happy customer and a better marketer. And I must say, my sister is a big mouth, so having her on Radmin team would be the best investment anyone could ever make.
Now, becoming more serious, I must say that Radmin looks like a great tool to use if you want to help others deal with computer issues, access your own computer or simply do some file exchange. It is not something you simply can look over even f the competition is having something to say as well. For me, it is the first program that offers voice support and remote access in the same time. This is all I need to know and this is all I need actually.
Thank you Softpedia.
1 happy brother |
| Comment #75 by: Boki on 17 Oct 2011, 20:14 UTC | reply to this comment | I tested Radmin software and I can say that it is very easy to use, and it is very useful program. I can reach my computer on my work place from my home, and I can work from home what ever I want on that computer, like I am there infront of it. I used VPN conection to my work's LAN so Radmin worked just fine, and I am very satisfied with it! My boss on work doesn't know how I manage to do so much tasks on our projects, and he is impressed by me, and he gave me a salary increase. :) Radmin is my secret. |

| Comment #77 by: Alpha on 17 Oct 2011, 20:29 UTC | reply to this comment | With the advancement of technology our lives are getting easier and easier. Now a days we don't need to be present physically to do some work. A very simple and a real life example can be- ordering a pizza or buying a laptop etc. Yes, now a days we don't need to be present on a pizza shop to order a pizza, simple we call them and they deliver it to our house. And the same way we don't have to go to a shop to buy a laptop, we can easily order it online and they deliver it within few days.
This kind of remote access of anything is very much important in our fast life. And the most pleasant thing is even our computer system can also be accessed remotely thanks to a software named Radmin.
Remote pc access software has been there for quite some time but recently people are knowing more about it and using it. The main advantage of this type of software is with the help of it you can connect to a pc from complete different location.
There are many other advantages of Remote pc access software like, if you are unable to visit office for some reason you can still access you office pc and work on it. If you are travelling then also you can still access your pc. It will save time, money and the work will be done more efficiently.
Being a bit geeky and an experimental person, my friends, relatives and neighbors often call me to get their pc checked in times of crisis. So Radmin will help me immensely in those situations.
As usual i will end my post by thanking you for generously offering such a nice giveaway. |
| Comment #78 by: janbreuer on 17 Oct 2011, 20:35 UTC | reply to this comment | Would be a great surprise getting one of the 10 year anniversary radmin licences. |
| Comment #79 by: thomas on 17 Oct 2011, 20:43 UTC | reply to this comment | I don't want to write a long poem about Radmin features. Anybody can read it on Radmin site.
Some girl at work all the time call to me and ask about troubles with her laptop.
Maybe she has a real problems maybe not. If I will win a Radmin I will connect to her computer and help her - remote.
This software is very useful for all administrator and servicedesk workers.
Thanks for Softpedia. Maybe I will be one of the 50 lucky men. I hope.
For few days I will check my mailbox for great info :) |

| Comment #85 by: mkg_just4u on 17 Oct 2011, 23:51 UTC | reply to this comment | Once again happy birthday to softpedia. This time also a very good give away. RADMIN standing for "Remote ADMINistrator", developed by Famatech. It is a very nice remote desktop software. Previously, I had used a similar software named "Team Viewer". But, I have heard about it for the first time. Yesterday I downloaded it and tried it. I used my and my friends pc to test it. Its perform is also very good. It uses most advanced Mirror or Video Hook Driver. It has a lot of security features as well in order to protect our privacy. It uses Kerberos Protocol for greater security. A very new Direct Screen Transfer technology has been also used in it. Its authentication method includes Diffie-Hellman key exchange algorithm using 2048-bit keys. Its 256-Bit AES encryption is a great feature. It is a light weight software and does not hangs up pc, and works at a high speed. The best thing about it is, it just feels like running social network software. There are text and voice chat. Message sending is also made easier. File transfer is very enjoyful. I made my friend's pc shutdown by my self. It was surprising. Another great feature is that, it enable to edit BIOS setting of remote pc and it can be also booted with cd or iso image remotely. This software is Unix based and runs on wine. It supports multiple users, but I could not get a chance to test it because at that time I could contact only one of my friends. It also supports multi OS over multi users. This is because my friend was using xp and I was using windows 7. Even, it can support connection between windows and linux. Where ever I am in the world, I could get connected to my pc. Ha..Ha..So, it is great. Therefore, it has won several awards. And, now I would like to win one of its licences under this give away. Hopefully looking forward.... |

... is one of the most popular and advanced remote control software on market.
Did you know this problem? You are traveling or far away from home and
forgot some very important data or need an application.
Without remote control software you're lost.
Here's the solution. Go ready for your first Remote Control Session
Step 1: Download Server & Client-version of your favorite Remote Control Software
Step 2: Installation of server-version at home-server (remote-pc)
Installation of client-version at mobile-pc (local-pc)
Step 3: Connect to remote-pc
Now you have many possiblities like
- transfering files between remote-pc and local-pc
- controlling the remote pc as sitting right in front of it
only to mention some of them.
Tip: Tunneling this connection through VPN is possible and more secure.
The benefits of using remote control software are obvious:
In this simple case it saves money and time, with only a few clicks.
Until now i'm using a free remote control software. But it would be nice to win
and get the opportunity to swtich to this professional solution - Radmin.
Thanks Softpedia and Famatech for this giveaway.

There is no way, no way, no way[!] that I cannot get this! So please don't do a quick, passerby, on me! Simply unbelievable! I used it at a certain business place, where it gave me full network capability to do whatever I wanted to this person's computer, and it was the best software I've used it for. It would be awesome to have this again, but for more mature, humane, etc reasons. I would like to be able to bypass my internet/router through my own password to log onto my computer from away from home! |

Это прекрасная программа, позволяющая чувствовать себя облегчённо, так как компьютер должен работать на меня, а не я на него.
Удалённое управление компьютером позволяет всегда контролировать свои другие компьютеры и удалённо следить за всеми.

| Comment #94 by: Grateful on 18 Oct 2011, 03:35 UTC | reply to this comment | I am no geek, but I seem to be called upon often enough for help with this or that. I could save so much time and gasoline by having a program like this. I don't charge any money to help people; I like people and I love to see people get excited about computers. Just a few unanswered questions, and POOF! they lose interest and don't want to bother anymore. One woman, about 15 years ago, had a new machine boxed for 3 years because she didn't know how to set it up. She kept telling me about her new computer, but I had to tell her, "Honey, it's not new anymore- it's 3 years old and a computer that old is old." Anyway, I would put a program like this to very good use! Thank you for your generosity and thank you for the chance of winning. |

| Comment #98 by: Grr on 18 Oct 2011, 05:18 UTC | reply to this comment | Dear Softpedia,
Thanks again for bringing the tool for which I have been waiting for.
On personal front I have used TeamViewer. In office environment I have used VNC and TightVNC. Additionally I also tried LogMeIn but wasn't able to understand it.
My main motive in using the remote tool is to help my parents who are in another country and have very less knowledge on using a laptop, even gmail and other simple things.
I am reading from the website of Radmin and see that Radmin has the best score over it competitors:
http://www.radmin.com/products/comparisons
I am going to be honest here and say that I haven't tried the trial version so there is no first hand experience in this case. However as I read I find the following features very useful to my need:
1. works on slow networks (at my parents side)
2. Compatibility with Windows 7 & Windows XP
3. Special keystroke handling and optional Full keyboard control.
4. Remote screens can be displayed inside a window or full screen with smooth scaling and the original aspect ratio.
5. Shutdown Connection Mode
6. DNS name and user name info added to the log file.
7. Secure "Drag and Drop" file Transfer with "Delta Copy" feature
8. Highest Security Level
It's going to be very useful not only for me but also for my parents as the interface is easy to use from their end, and gives me better option to help my parents. Appreciate if I could get a license here at Softpedia.
Once again many thanks to both Softpedia and Radmin for their generosity. Fingers crossed on my chance to win.
Thanks,
Grr |

| Comment #108 by: Pan Pikus on 18 Oct 2011, 07:13 UTC | reply to this comment | Softpedia birthday, another good program, super. Radmin - Remote Administrator is a software for secure remote control, allowing the user to work on a remote computer as if sitting in front of him. Much more powerful and functional than the Remote Desktop Connection with Windows. This program is ideal for remote access. Depending on the set in the program mode you can either watch the activities performed by the user's computer remotely to which we are connected, or take over operation of its system. Access the same computer, you can get from many places, and you can use advanced file transfer, text chat and voice, Telnet, etc.. To connect the modem just been the weakest, and the flow of data is encrypted.
Count me please. Thanks |

In the situation when the laptop is the server (the PC manage your laptop), everything works great. But when I have a server on the PC that I use all the functions (copy files, command line, chat, or off).
The program is super.

| Comment #124 by: Giovanni on 18 Oct 2011, 12:54 UTC | reply to this comment | This is for sure the BEST PC Remote control software available in the market right now, which enables users to work on a remote machine in real time via LAN, WAN or TCP/IP Internet connection, as if they were sitting in front of its keyboard and mouse, through advanced means such as audio chat, text messages, telnet, file transfer
Of course, there are plenty of FREEWARE programs out there like TEAMVIEWER or UltraVCN capable of doing more or less the same task as this tool, but none of them is as fast and secure as RADMIN PC REMOTE CONTROL.
So what makes RADMIN PC REMOTE CONTROL better than any other free or paid PC REMOTE CONTROL SOFTWARE out there??
In short, RADMIN PC REMOTE CONTROL is the best choice because of:
1) its extremely easy and user friendly configuration process, which makes the use of this pofessional program a breeze even for newbies
2) its incredible speed of work with minimal usage of resources, thanks to its unique Direct Screen Transfer Technology enabling the program to receive data directly from Windows
3) its awesome high data protection network (256 bit AES data Encryption) and sophisticated IP filter tables module, which make it pretty impossible for any hackers out there to intercept data while in transit on the web
4) its outstanding features, such as the text and voice chat module as well as the multiple monitors and mouse wheel support.
So Telecommuters, Mobile Travelers, PC Technicians, networks and helpdesk managers of big corporations or ordinary people, like the undersigned, who need to access the desktop and data of their work PC from home, definitely cannot miss out this tool for any reason.
Count me in please!! |

Still could use Radmin to link to my home puter bandwidth when roaming about with the laptop. I like the idea of leaving important data at home to cover the next time I drop the laptop or have it stolen. Get to use my single license software on the road and when I get bored I can watch the dog sleeping on the couch at home. OK, when I am really, really bored out of my skull.
With winter coming I still might be able to slip it onto the folks computer. But then again, it's a short drive and I like the meals. Who knows, just have to wait and see if I am lucky enough to win a license... |

Thanks Softpedia.
After going through the pics I was facinated to give it a shot. Downoaded and installed 30-day trial.
The website needs better organization, very difficult to read, navigate and not at all soothing to eyes.
Below is the pic for my system before doing anything, just the analysis after installation.
http://i56.tinypic.com/258rv9v.jpg
I SET defragmentation mode = Fragmented files only (no other settings changed after installing)
It requires to do a hard disk speed test to estimate the defragmentation time. Test was done in 5 seconds. Simulation estimated time reported as 32minutes, with 40% resource usage, and it took 52seconds to give the results. Having said this, the CPU touched 96%.
At this time I just had 478Mb free space on HDD. So I cleared it to make 4.8Gb Free. See below my new results.
http://i56.tinypic.com/2e3ah4g.jpg
I again set the max resource usage to 80% and started the simulation. This time the Simulation estimated time reported as 11minutes. CPU usage was very minimal.
Please note that the time it shows in the status bar in the bottom, is reset once it starts
defragmentation, in other words it does not starts the time the moment we click start, as it would then also include the analysis time. Pretty good here.
While still going on:- the degree of fragmentation kept reducing, but the estimated time remaining started as 1hour 12minutes.
At 10fragmentation- time elapsed=7min 36seconds, degree of fragmentation=24.48%, No. of fragments left=8497
At 20fragmentation- time elapsed=14min 41seconds, degree of fragmentation=21.76%, No. of fragments left=6300
For above I noticed an absurd case where at one point of time the defragmentation was 19%, but then it switched back to 17%. And also the estimated time remaining jumped to 1187hours. See proofs below:

At 30fragmentation- time elapsed=21min 24seconds, degree of fragmentation=19.39%, No. of fragments left=4530
At 40fragmentation- time elapsed=27min 51seconds, degree of fragmentation=16.47%, No. of fragments left=1791. Proof below:

Final result below:
100fragmentation- time elapsed=33min, degree of fragmentation=13.54%, No. of fragments left=884. Proof below:

From the above facts and test on my laptop I only have words of praise for UltimateDefrag. I started testing with a mindset as yet another false claimed software, but it proved me TOTALLY WRONG.
It did everything what it said for, no further commensts from my side and no shortcomings. On the CPU usage also it max touched 49% and had no noticeable effects on my work. JUST AMAZING & SUPERB with EXCELLENT RESULTS!!!!
Appreciate if you could spare me a license.
Thanks,

| Comment #153 by: nickkoj on 20 Oct 2011, 09:50 UTC | reply to this comment | I have been looking for a remote software as good and as powerful as radmin. I believe the live chat with users is very important because some users are not that up to speed with technology and sometimes speaking to them on a live chat helps me guide them through the issues they are having.
The radmin software is great for remote updates on computer systems it saves time by not needing to go out on site.
I would love to have a full copy of this software. |
| Comment #154 by: Daddy on 02 Nov 2011, 16:29 UTC | reply to this comment | i really need radmin for my children because no other remote control software is free and as good quality as Radmin. Radmin is really good because it is easy to get around. (a lot of help is offered) |
