Few years earlier I have changed from Norton Antivirus to Panda Internet Security as Norton block my internet connection and the problem still exists even with the existence of their online expert to fix it. east or west softpedia is the best

I've used many AV softwares in the past. There was a time when AVG used to block most of the viruses, but after 2 years of faithful service a virus got through. Kaspersky was good but reported a lot of false positives. Using BitDefender i was left rather unsatisfied even though it was light on system resources. Then I've also used Panda but recently shifted back to AVG only to be infected again.

Alright, so there is no AV that is 100% best but my experience with Panda was rather good. No virus ever got through while I was using Panda. The UI is simple, as compared to BitDefender or AVG but being an advanced user I don't find that much of a problem. Also being an advanced user I hate 1 thing about AVG, i.e. it locks any file even though it may be a false positive thanks to it's Resident Shield, and trying to add that file to exception list is really irritating. I never had such a problem with Panda, yet. Also Panda seems to be light on system resources. Panda's Firewall does it's job well. so I really want a code for this AV, Panda has not let me down yet and always seems to block most viruses and trojans before they can cause any serious damage. Panda really looks and feels light and fast, just what a gamer needs. Also Panda has a cloud based service in which threats are detected in real time over the internet. If constant internet connection is not there it will detect the most common threats.

The best part of panda products is the Cloud technology. It really really boosts the detection rate and lessens the response time for new viruses. The downside is, the GUI is kind of slow and not that much responsive . Well i think their best product is Panda Cloud antivirus. They also did great in the latest AV comparatives test. Hope they will continue their good work and keep their products simple, responsive and effective.

This is the best antivirus of all those I have ever met. He not only captures and catch viruses on the fly, it will prevent their harmful effect on the system, and if the system was infected - it was an excellent cure. After treatment, no longer any idea that the system has ever been infected.A 2012 version also has an excellent and clever. It helps orient the user what file to consider Greater than dangerous, and less koy.
In general, I've always enjoyed the food and Kaspersky will continue to use them, because I believe that this is the best and most nearly perfect way to protect the system.

I have used 2010 and 2011 this is very good and trusfull secutity also low on system recources. I hope i will get a licence to get protected to the max.

There is also facility for submitting a suspicious file directly to Panda Developers. That is good. There are also many options to back up our important data. It has got advanced firewall protection. This panda is not going to eat bambaoo but it will eat viruses and hackers.. ha ha..I am really enjoying using it...But it is running in trial mode. I hope i could get one of those 50 licences from softpedia.

Panda has one of the worlds first and leading cloud based detection server. Combining this with signatures+ a good hips panda has come up with a solotion which can tackle with a myraid variety of threats easily and efficiently . Panda is thought to be a sluggish and slow animal but this suite is unlike the real animal. I have found panda consuming memory a bit on the higher side but still with 2gb ram it runs as if the pc is well oiled. Lastly the Truprevent technology is one of the best types i have ever seen. This is the part which consumes much of the ram. But yet leaving this turned off is excluding apple from apple pie. Good job panda. I would surely like to win a license. This panda software is as fast as the Kung-fu Panda!!.

I used Panda many years ago when their were other incryption softwares available for use. It was great then but I had many choices then and and let Panda slide as well as the others but with todays society I am finding it necessary to be more deligent in protecting my information. I am now looking for a great security type software to help me keep my private information private so I am once again trying the softwares available looking for the best one to suit my needs. I spend many hours on line and with all the banking industries and finiancial institutions going to paperless billing and transactions, I find an increased need for better security of my personal information. If Panda can protect my information on line and on my computer then it would worth continued use if not I will keep searching.

I've been using this for years now and it absolutely does its job. Panda rocks!!!

I am using Norton 360 v5, and I am happy to use that. It is really fast and secure. I never used Panda before. If I got chance and get a license for free, of course I will use this. Coz I dont want to buy the Norton 360 next though it is expensive. Therefore looking for a great antivirus+antispam+internet security suite. I believe, Panda Internet Security would be great and if it is free then... of course..... WOW!!!

This version is definitely better than the previous one. I usually give a try to new versions of security suites, at least the main ones, that are the most popular. Panda is amongst them. I started out trying Panda Antivrus Pro 2012. Now gave a try to Internet Security. They are not so much different.

You mentioned in your review that antispam is not so reliable, I'll tell you that I never ever use integrated antispam module in neither of these security applications, so I don't really care that it's not compatible with Outlook 2010 for example (though would expect this, because office 2010 had been out for quite a while now).

The firewall is also not that complicated to use. I found it pretty comfortable to play with. I'm not sure about how effective it is after all, but it's definitely better then the standard Windows XP Firewall, I'm almost sure about that, and that it's much easier to use than, for example the Windows 7 firewall, which I found very very complicated for an end-user.

Virus detection rate is good. I'd recommend to everyone to think twice before ever clicking suspicious links in GooGle, or before opening any cracked/pirated program as these are the main sources of infection.
If you ignore this advice, there is no security suite that can ever protect you from malware attacks, that's true for sure.

So heads up, let all of us give a try to this new version of Panda, I have enough confidence to use this software, I simply trust them because they provide us one of the best free antivirus solutions, they were the first to offer cloud based protection. As I said before, if you have your mind in place and you're cautious , you cannot be taken down by any malware, not even bamboo :)

For Panda, I tried in 2010 (Panda is Certificate Partner of Microsoft) and until now, I decide not to use it anymore.
My Lenovo 3000 can not run smoothly Panda, it slow down my system.
When I use Avast Free v6, woa, it's great.
Sorry for that commment, I think Panda is so nice and good protection but still suck. I also tried Norton Internet Security 2011, it's much better than Panda Internet Security 2011 on the impact on system.
I still do not want to try Panda 2012, but if for some reasons I give your license, I'd like to test version 2012 to see what happen in my Lenovo 3000.

Panda is very light and multipurpose...well i'm talking about the security suite obviously because our lovely little animal is not quite light right ?? but so cute... the good point about this security suite is that the installation is very quick and easy which is perfect for me !!! yes i'm a very busy woman and i want something i want it fast and without having to worry about anything ;) and i don't want to buy a new and more powerful computer to enjoy it !! using the cloud and the true prevent technology makes it an unbeattable tool nowadays ;) and the most important thing for me is that i can use it without having to read a 100 pages guide book before...yeah i'd rather read the entire Harry Potter saga ;) lol

a panda is a follower of non-violence it can`t even hurt most living things on the face of the planet unless its in your PC then its like kung fu panda.. :-)

I just installed Windows 7 yesterday (and I'm still not sure if is really worth it, xp still rocks) and I started to search for a light antivirus. In my old days, as a xp user, I used Avira Free + Sygate Firewall, quite an efficient combo. But now, I wanted to try something new. So I went on Softpedia searching for some internet protection. I heard good things about Panda's suit from my friends and, althought I had something else in my mind, I gave Panda's a shot. It's not as light as Avira (or maybe is just Win7's fault) but it seems like is what I searched for. The full pack would be simply awesome.

Panda Internet security 2012 is awesome IMO. I tried their previous version of Panda AV Pro 2010, Panda AV Pro 2011, I like them for feature wise but feels little heavy in my Machine. So unfortunately I could not use them. Their free cloud Antivirus is really good but you need other layered of defence like HIPS or Behaviour blocker. I could buy their Panda cloud AV Pro but I am student so tried to keep my wallet in to locker :D.

Now, I was shocked when I installed their version 2012. It is really light, low impact and highly effective with so many features, like
realtime cloud technology - Faster threat detection from Panda Users
Classic Antivirus that can protect you while you work offline.
Trueprevent- It is Proactive technology, that can catch threat by their suspicious behaviour.
Firewall, Identity Protection- Good at blocking hackers and save from data leak.
Safe Browser - this is my favourite feature and I love it. I always like to run my browser sandbox so, I can feel safe while surfing.

It has others features too, but mainly I concern about the above listed. It also offer you to install USB Vaccine that can protect you from unknown autorun viruses by USB stick etc.

Moral of the story is, Panda is light, effective and awesome suite. I like to get one license of it Please....

Here I am on a nice Saturday looking out the window, while thinking of a comment to post. I just realized, or finally decided to admit - I'm hooked on Softpedia and their awesome anniversary giveaways!

I haven't used the Internet Security product, but for quite a while I was running AV FREE and PRO and was extremely happy with their performance. Utilizing the cloud doesn't just mean great detection [as evident by their regular excellent AV test results] and fast response, the "thin" client with its minimalistic, uncluttered, well laid out interface has a negligible impact on system performance.

Advanced+ ratings and similarly top honors in the performance stakes - the best of both worlds in this nimble and unpretentiously styled, but still eye catching application [just like the likable, docile and somewhat withdrawn bear it's named after].

Although they have a separate netbook edition, I think Panda Internet Security would be very well suited for the performance limitations of a single core netbook, currently being protected by avast, which sometimes feels just a bit heavy for it.

I have been using Panda internet Security 2012 three months trial and i must say its a very good antivirus suit to keep us protected...i like its neat and clean interface,not cluttered at all and the added online backup feature though most of the antivirus suites provides one these days.Last but not the least...HaPpy Birthday Softpedia!!!
