I currently connect to an FTP server I'm using Total Commander, but from time to time are some problems with him because he does not support communication with all types of FTP servers. FlashFXP on this issue is more flexible, supports more standards, including by me FXP commonly used for the direct exchange between servers. Having this program really helped me to manage my work in web servers. Thank you Softpedia for another great contest.

Excellent prpogramma! The program supports all required protocols. Very nimble, very reliable and smart. I was working with the FileZilla. Of course I would like to work with FTP using professional software.

As I am working everyday on Web Development, a quality and flexible, highly configurable FTP client program is a must for me. Free alternatives are popular, but none have FlashFXP's simple efficiency, backed up by strong functionality.

FlashFXP is a well known FTP Client.

I've tested the trial some time ago.
It does it's job very well. For me FlashFXP supports all the basic functionalities of traditional FTP clients.
- save and organize Sites in Site Manager
- downloading and uploading files via Secure FTP (FTPS) SSL/TLS or SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
- resuming files after aborts
- support for identification with integrated ident server
- advanced filter listing feature (skiplist | priority list | highlights)
- compare folder feature
- an advanced scheduler e.g. to shutdown computer after the work is done
- raw commands
- queue mangement
- speed limitation of connection

This all comes in a smart and easy to use multilanguage user interface.

I especially liked the advanced filter list feature.
With it, it's easy to ignore all annoying files automaticly by keywords and sort them along it's priorities.

Also nice are the highlights to find important files faster to queue them
and the compared folders feature to filtered out already downloaded files and folders.

Until now i use an open source ftp client - FileZilla.
But it would be nice to win and get the opportunity to swtich to FlashFXP.

I have using ftp softwares since a long time. Most frequently I have been using free ftp softwares like FileZilla, WinSCP, etc. These are free to use. But however there are also some paid ones who are also very good. I have use few paid ones for trial period only. They are SmartFTP, FlashFXP, CuteFTP, etc. So, FlashFXP is one of the best ones for windows. Because I also use to operate Linux also, Filezilla supports both OS. Nevertheless, FlashFXP is good at windows. Its most recent versions are outstanding. Its speed is increased and improved than before. The best feature is that there is no file size limit. Like Bit torrent it can resume automatically. It automatically detects time zone. Rolling back feature is also good. To avoid misuse, there is password protection facility. It bears secure connection and firewall. It also supports SFTP Client. The remote file management has been made easy. It also detects trusted and not trusted connections and links.
As a whole it bears great features and I would wish to win one of the 50 licences of this veteran. Looking forward for a life time licence....really great.

I'm not using FTP client software very often, but when I do, unfortunately I don't have a large number of software I can chose from. FlashFXP seems very promising, as it incorporates most of the features you will ever need for FTP transfers.

As of now, for FTP transfers I am using Total Commander, it is good chioce if you need only FTP. But, as I use some linux-based servers, where I can transfer data onto only by using SFTP, there comes a different story. Of course, I'm doing that with the SFTP plugin, which I downloaded from TC site, but lacks a great number of features compared to FlashXP.

On the other hand, this double-panel design is very similar to total commander. So I find this very easy to use. It is also more reliable than the SFTP plugin in Total commander, which made the whole application to crash a couple of time, of course I lost the upload process, and had to start it all over.

I could see using it for managing my website too. Great software, easy to use, and not so expensive comapred to other software having the same rich set of features. The license is lifetime also, so you can use it as long as you live. Hope to win one of the 50 codes.

Oh really I wanted that but I never got to know about FlashFXP. It has all those features what I needed specially resuming the transfers because here the connection sometimes suffers downtime and also some transfers are very large and time consuming, so I will be able to pause and resume the transfers at my own comfort. Nice Features! I also like its on-the-fly compression and secure file transfers and FXP (server-to-server) support which is
