I have not heard of Acronis True Image Home before but it sure seems to be pretty nice backup software to prevent loosing all my valuable data.
Moreover virtual disc support nice!

What comes first? the egg or the bird?
Let me explain why I’ve started like this: sysadmin work wasn’t and won’t be easy. Having more than two dozens of computers to maintain and each different (in any possible way) finding TrueImage was like catching both the egg and the bird or golden fish. Now I know that before preparing all the software kits (the bird(s)) that make in the end a computer what it is (a working machine) I have to prepare either a bootable CD or (more recently) a bootable USB stick with our extremely useful TrueImage. After that the following troubles are welcomed … my job was never easier (concerning REinstalling the systems).

Thanks a lot Softpedia and Acronis for the bringing the best Full Disk Image backup software for all of us.I have used Acronis True Image 2011 version and was very happy and absolutely satisfied with it, the backups and recoveries have so far been a smooth experience for me.I would love to upgrade to ATI 2012 version because of its vast improvement and many bug fixes over its previous version

This is my favourite backup tool, because it is easy to configure, and in this new version (2012) I can finally sync my files in my USB drives, without to install a third-party program.

The only thing I dislike about Acronis is the hardware independent restoration not provided for free (but included in plus pack).

By the way, Acronis true image is a great tool you should not miss. This product is always been stable in my machines than other backup solution I tried.

This is not one of the best backup and disaster recovery OS and personal data... Acronis this is by far the best, intelligent, flexible and very reliable software, written by really talented programmers.
I use TrueImage for 6-7 years. At the moment I'm working with Acronis TrueImage Western Digital Edition. Of course the free version has some limitations, but I'm still very pleased with the program.

Hmmm... where should I start about this piece of awesome utility. If you mentioned about backup utility or disk cloning.. basically there's only two softwares that considered as 'de facto' standard, (maybe sounds too exaggerate for some users) N**t** G***t for the commercially licensed software or Cl***z***a for the open source camp. So how does Acronis True Image compared to both of the them? Superior or inferior? For me definitely almost same as N**t** G***t or Cl***z***a, only there's one of major exception that makes Acronis stands out... That is user friendly GUI for both of the main windows application and most importantly GUI for the boot disk.

I really don't want to mention about the main windows component of the program for creating data backup or disk image. Due to the fact that there's a plethora of free or commercial data backup software that offers the same functionality. Even windows got its very own data backup utility. What's the most important functionality from my opinion is the ability to create boot disk or recovery disk or rescue disk (it's a same thing maybe different in terms of name only).

Cl***z***a didn't provide you with any user friendly GUI for creating or restoring disk image, only step by step text based guide. Please don't get wrong, it's definitely easy to understand text based guide but what if the user is a newbie? If he or she choose the wrong option things could turn out to be a nightmare... so just say goodbye to your precious data.

Same as N**t** G***t. Maybe it's a lot better than Cl***z***a since the boot disk offer some sort of GUI not text based UI, but is it as user friendly GUI of Acronis True Image?

Acronis True Image Rescue CD provide one superb GUI where the user could see the drive representation same as working in windows environment, where 'point and click' tend to give the user some sort of confidence during operating the critical job.

So again, does that make N**t** G***t inferior to Acronis? Definitely not. It's just only a matter of user preferences, but most importantly how does newbies see or use it. Does it make him or her a little bit afraid or awkward? Or could they handled one of the most crucial computing job or skills like a pro. OK, there's maybe data recovery software to recovery the previous data that was lost but for me it's another different thing and the success rate are somewhat 50-50 depends on your luck. Prevention is better than cure.....

Great software for duplicating hard drive. I have used the 2011 version and I must say one of the best clone hd softwares. It has many options that assets in cloning specifics part of the hard drive. I am using ATI 2011 since a few months and it's already an excellent product. The latest recovery media recognizes both my USB 3 HDD and my RAID 0 array. I like the try and decide mode, and the overall management of image files, even if I find file numbering could be improved, especially when performing backup from the recovery media.

I want this. Why? The reason is simple: I want to get a free upgrade from my 2011 version. To say its the best backup solution is an understatement, the best has actually got better with a plethora of new features: syncing selected files and folders between two or more PCs, better support for backup to NAS, Acronis Startup Recovery Manager of your OS fails to boot. Acronis Extended Capacity Manager will be useful for those who are still on Windows XP and wants to use that large capacity (2TB or more) hard drive. Besides the UI has got a facelift and frankly speaking, its better than before. All and all I need one license madly, please count me in. Don't want to miss on this.

i can say 1 000 000 word ,and still cant describe how much is Acronis Image solution all version ( home , workstation and servers ) is magic , im using Acronis from 7 years ,i feel safe when i backup my servers and file servers with Acronis , like a baby boy who feel safe in his mother hands and sure that he will not fall down , Acronis like that you will be sure 100% will not let you down , if you computer burn and you have immge located in external HD , 10 min max and you will get same computer in different hardware ( trust me and try by your self ) :) . Its nice that SOFTPEDIA on their 10th anniversary giving 50 ACRONIS licences. I am using Acronis since their ATI 10 version which was very very smooth and professional. Since then I have purchased 11, ATI 2009, 2011 which are also very good but not as smooth as ATI 10. I hope this ATI 2012 will match ATI 10 and in that hope I wish that I get a license on this Softpedia's 10th anniversary.

I'm on a disability retirement so funds are limited and my computer is invaluable to me. I cannot really afford many programs need this type of program because windows so many times deletes needed recovery points where the initial problem occurs. I'm at the point now that windows the windows installer from the installation disk, system restore or restore it from a backup including many vital programs including my USB backup drive to restore it, but gives me some junk about a referral from the server, I have no other way to fix my computer except to do a complete format & re-install, therefore losing so many programs I have installed ( Many that work now but won't upon re-install because the license has been used or cannot be reused) & so much time! If I had this full program, I wouldn't have had this tragedy because I could use the full features & avoid this disaster! TELL ME I DON'T NEED IT!

From experience so far, to do a reinstallation of the operating system to the most seriously takes about half a day. If you use Acronis True Image and all the work that may take longer than an hour. So, major gain is effective. In general, this is felt especially in companies, but are a home user would not like to lose less time with this? Surely this application has several features but personally I like something to use most often.

I had farstone restorIT, but believe it or not, a trojan or some malware actually deleted the program from my pc & wouldn't let me use superantispyware to detect it. Lucily MBAM worked & found & deleted it. I can't afford to replace it because i'm unfortunately broke & unemployed & living with a relative. Sad but true.

I have Acronis WD edition. Acronis is one of the best backup software.

I've tried various versions of the software: Paragon Drive BackUp, Easeus Todo BakUp, O&O Drive Image, BackUp4all, LeoBackUp, Norton Ghost and more...
After a long and not always successfully ending test I stopped at the Acronis True Image and bought this program.Since then ( 2007), my quest for really good BachUp and Recovery software once and for all over.
Of course I would like to update my older version of Acronis True Image. Thank you for your good taste and for this chance!

wow this is nuts guys! I have never used this type of back up(i use standard windows) but just reading through your review it seems Ive been a fool! I know that its important to have the best Protection(Internet security) and im now beginning to see its equally important to have the best Back-up program, Acronis true image 2012 seems to tick all those boxes. Its the lazy mans Back-up program as everything seems to be done for its users! with its slick look it fits perfectly in with windows 7. I do keep pictures of the kids on my desktop and i clearly have not took backing up as serious as maybe i should have! take mercy on me softpedia and consider me for this brilliant piece of software. Thanks softpedia for actually caring about the little people.

Wow Another superb giveaway. I used the older 2011 version and it rocks big time. Fast continuous backup and incremental or full backups available. Also, the try and decide function makes u try a new software or even browse the net while protection you for that session and when you restart the computer it goes back to how it was. The only complaint about that particular feature is that it does slow down the computer. The online backup works just for a few countries and not some Asian countries soI cannot comment on that. Plus, the size is large for this program which dial up users will not like. The ease of use, the customization of compression and operations along with speed makes True Image a True to it's name giant in back up programs. Thanks for the giveaway and regards to all.

After the unexpected death of my HDD, which claimed the life of a three thousand photographs, a couple of tens of gigabytes of your favorite music, some home video disks, and many other valuable data, I got smarter. ( Better late than never...)
Now I use two external HDD (Samsung and Western Digital My_Passport) and Acronis Trie Image.A few years later problemma repeated and another HDD (Seagate) ordered to live long. But this time I was prepared. Acronis done his job well. Undoubtedly the best software!

No matter what others may say about Acronis it is till the No.1 image backup system app there is. Fast image creation and recovery. The most reliable app I won't even think of not having on a pc. Been using ATI 2008 and I had the chance to use ATI Home 2011 as trial and I'd have to say the jump some of the best features are there. Online Backup, non-stop backup wow! Integration to bios via F11 in tandem with the Linux cd adds more leverage. Email and File/Folder backup and backing up existing backups GREAT! Had fun testing it out really :)

NAS devices needs some improvement but I am optimistic it will be fully equipped in 2012. I don't know about synching but have not have the time to try it out since I was on trial and it had expired. Rats!

Acronis? That's really one * application!!!! The office has ATI 2011 and it had rescued me several times from darn staff who get into my pc wanting this and that tinkering this and that. Non-stop backup the one feature you'll ever need as as explained by our IT will save whatever darn activity you do and will recover it FAST.

File/Folder backup is great as with image backup. Restore is great all FAST. Been wanting to download a trial but I just found out that it's ATI 2012 now and this giveaway...AAAAAGGGHHH! Gotta join this one for a chance to have a license! Oh gimme gimme gimme :) ha ha lol lol!!! Sorry just got excited there. Been using Macrium free at home but having problems with the Linux cd thing..had to ditch it and use Seagate's Diskwizard..tsk too limited.

This is a software every computer should not be without.

I used to visit softpedia daily and even had one feed subscription for the latest freeware in my google reader. But lately I have been giving it the miss for feed overloading. And now I missed 28 of 31 oppurtunities for getting paid software free! And that too stuff like Ad Aware, XYPlorer and now Acronis! Wow, what a way to celebrate your anniversary month. Brilliant. This one's a no-brainer must-have tool for a Win7 user like me. I have read the reviews and compared same with the resident back-up tool and I want this for sure :) Free tools may be available and adequate but Acronis True Image Home 2012 is justifiably unbeatable and more than sufficient to take care of back-up, recovery and then some!! THIS IS A STRONGEST TOOL FOR THIS BY A MILE.

One of the best imaging software. It almost never failed on my laptop. I like the way that you can boot and restore even the OS partition without need for boot CD.

However I want Acronis to add/ increase support for android tablets and linux.

I have used previous versions of True Image think no other backup solution comes close for ease of use and providing error free proection against disaters as well as users who might want to try software such as myself. Disk imaging is an integral part of my life. I do it since I can revert back to an earlier system state if something goes wrong, without reinstalling my OS, apps & updates [doing that is a real pain in the backside].
At present, I use the free version of Paragon's solutions for that. That software is an incredible freeware.
But WHAT GOT ME THINKING was the brilliant feature-set of Acronis's offering. Its main job is disk imaging - since I have read innumerable positive reviews for Acronis Backup, even though I have never used it, it should be atleast as good or even better than Paragon's offering.
I am indeed having Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate [with SP1] 64-bit edition. So, it will allow me to "create bootable disks or USB devices to run the software offline, mount images as virtual drives, convert them to VHD format and boot from them" - as mentioned above by Ionut Illascu.
Other great features which stand out [IMO] are the ability to backup one's applications like MS Office etc, running apps in * -boxed environment [!! Its the only thing lacking in Norton Internet Security 2012, the anti-virus I love to use].
If I win a license, it'll help me to replace some software with this all-in-one app - they are Virtual CloneDrive, Returnil software & ofcouse, Paragon Backup & Recovery 2011 Free.
The 2012 version also happens to be quite a recent release, so I will be running the 'latest & greatest' for some time to come! So, please consider me for a free license of this highly acclaimed product.

Writing down something about Acronis comes out as natural. I am a long time user and big fan of Acronis. Why? Because it never let me down. I can not count how many times I used Acronis to recover my data. It is really easy to use and it does have a lot of features that the competition is copying as well. The most important one is the Acronis Secure Zone, a backup partition where a saved image of your HDD stays untouched by viruses. You can save an image of your HDD any time you like, beginning with a clean slate or a bundled OS with all the goodies you had installed. Options like Incremental backup , Differential or Full will offer you a choice to fulfill your needs. You can enable the Startup Recovery and hit F12 Key any time to start the recovery. This is really a big help when your computer doesn't want to start up again. Chances are that you will have at least 1 time in your life this problem. This is true specially when you try a lot of new software. Again, Acronis has a solution. You can use Try&Decide, a special feature of Acronis that creates basically a virtual drive where you can mess around with everything, literally.As you wish, you decide to keep the changes or revert your computer to the anterior step. Congratulations to Softpedia on its 10 Year Anniversary. Giving this software in a giveaway is a great decision. I have used Acronis True Image Home 2011 and it is an incredible Disk/Partition imaging solution. It gives you the ability to image and deploy your OS. I like its ability to create bootable media for recovery. It has a polished interface which makes it fairly easy to use. I have found it to be much better than its counterparts like clonezilla, ghost etc which are for enterprises but this has been made with average consumer in mind and I'll say they have pretty much succeeded in that.

I have used both Acronis True Image Home 2010, 2011. They both hit the mark when I really needed them. Easy to set up and forget about. Then when when required return your system back to it shiny self especially after hardware failure and user failure to learn that not all downloadable codecs are what they say they are and inadvertently installing a virus at a time when the machine was being its most productive. Acronis True Image Home 2012 can only build on what for me can only be called a life saver.

I have been using Acronis True Image since like 2006-2007 and it never let me down. I saved lots of time by restoring image backups of the system partition and really enjoyed using it. Reinstalling an operating system is really time consuming, restoring a system partition with True Image takes about 5 minutes on my PC :). I tried to educate my friends about backup and imaging of a partition (boy, they really get it hard :D ). Oh, the compression level of the backups is very effective, really surprising sometimes. When you have a smaller HDD that really puts a smile on your face. Saved time also when I cloned the partitons to a new harddrive, it was done without any issues. I would absolutely love to own a license of True Image, it's definitely one of my favorite programs. YAY for Acronis! :D

A useful tool in backup sector with many advanced functions.This is not a simple software this is a backup champion.

It's great if you also happen to dual boot with a Linux distro. Acronis supports ext4 filesystems. Boot from the CD and you can take snapshots of and / or reimage your linux partition(s) with a very easy to use interface.

Another faboulous giveaway of simply the best and simplest imaging solution.
I have the 2011 version and i regularly use it to reinstall a fresh image of my base setup, this keeps things flying along at a nice pace. I have had to use it twice to recover from issues, once for a total mess up of some dodgy drivers and the second time to reinstall onto a new pc after my old one died a terminal death, this was achieved with the plus add on pack that allows to install on dissimilar hardware (worked well by allowing to add new drivers into the hal) so it really proved itself that day. I highly recommend getting the plus pack add on to extend the versatility of this product and if i get a licence i certianly will purchase the plus pack add on for myself.

1- It can survive you from the worst hangup cases, when your PC really can't boot and you can't even see any single line or digit of data on your screen. Acronics True Image is a highly recommend essential tool for small businesses, freelance workers like me and home users. Its the fastest, easiest and reliable way to restore a system to an earlier stable state, not just the os and other drives. Every time my windows refuses to load after a software install or a device install while in the middle of important projects, true image has helped me. Within minutes i can restore from the backup file which i created earlier with OS, drivers and all my professional softwares installed. That was too Good to explain.I am still using true image 2011..I had imagined my system drive with the help of it and i use that image to recover my system..before this one i tried many of system recovery softwares but they dont give me such type of affection and satisfaction as true image home 2012 gave me. It is a great product and much much better then any of its rivals such Paragon drive copy and the likes. Acronis True Image was always faster and more reliable. I have got version 10 of Acronis True Image and I was so happy with it on my old XP laptop. Well, i will be replacing a system hdd in a few weeks because it's fast as a snail, and creating an image of a drive sounds little better than installing Windows again. I've used Acronis Disk Director before and it worked like a swiss watch, so i'm pretty sure this works great as well. So, nice pick for a giveaway mates..

Being something of a software freak, I typically install and try something like 20-30 programs a month, no kidding. Needless to say, with so many Windows programs somehow having a hard time getting completely out when I say to them "get out', it doesn't take long for Windows to get clogged up with unneeded files, folders and registry settings. Almost NO program's uninstaller removes everything they installed to begin with, and none of the multitude of third-party uninstallers (contrary to their glowing claims) consistently does so either. Plus sometimes, a semmingly innocent program will just trash my system, not because it's malware or anything, but because the programmer was a cyber-moron.

Soooo, I decided to go with what was at the time (I thought) the only game in town: Norton Ghost. You know, takes a 'snapshot' of your hard drive, stores that someplace, and allows you to go back later and restore that snapshot and VOILA! Your system is back to exactly what it was the day of the snapshot. Unfortunately, Ghost had no idea what an NTFS file system was, which forced me to go back to the inefficient FAT32, and then it wanted to store said snapshot onto about 4 CDs! Then it gave me some kind of hassle when I tried to restore (I don't remember what it was because the program apparently affects the part of your brain that's responsible for remembering things, like it's failures).

Anyway, I contacted them and raised just enough * to get them to refund my money. A few weeks later, I heard about this program called True Image from Acronis. Although I had never heard of it, it was calling itself version 6 (weird, I thought) but more importantly, in trying to make a name for itself, it was being offered for just $10 to those who had a license for Ghost! Well, although I didn't actually use Ghost anymore, I still did have the media, so I decided to give True Image a try. I have used nothing else since.

At the time, being able to do a full snapshot from within Windows, not having to shut down and reboot into the old DOS mode was a HUGE plus, and only one other program claimed to be able to do that, and it cost 5 times as much! Also, being able to store that image onto any media I chose, even remotely via FTP, was awesome as well. The program simply does what it says it does and it does it very well. Almost too well in fact, because since then I have only needed to upgrade maybe twice. Acronis keeps coming out with updates every year (like it's somehow SUPPOSED to), and they keep adding little stuff here and there and of course adding a few nickles to the upgrade price as well (wink), but it really doesn't need to do any more than take a reliable snapshot of my system, and that it has done since way back when, when I first started using it.

Now, a backup solution is really only as good as it's ability to restore, right? Well, Acronis True Image gets high marks here as well. My main partition is about 250GB, and it takes about 12 minutes to restore that. So, if things get clogged, or in the RARE instance when I (yes, even I) actually manage to fall victim to some script kiddie who infects my computer with some ill-intended software, I don't panic; I'm only 12 minutes away from being clean again. So I can laugh in the face of death, chuckle at catastrophe and sneer at doom!

My backup system is simple: Once I install windows and all programs and get everything configured, I make a full image. Since I store documents on a completely separate hard drive altogether, I back that up too, but as a separate image. Periodically, I make an incremental backup of the main drive, and also regularly make an incremental of the data drive. I keep images both on a separate partition of the data drive, plus on an external drive that I keep in my desk at work (you know, in case I burn the house down during one of my 'experiments'). So, unless the whole city goes up in a puff of smoke (which it might, these people here are crazy), I have a rock solid data-protecting, time saving, worry-killing, hacker-foiling, lip-smacking, patty-whacking system going on here!

Acronis is so good at doing what it does, that I have simply never felt the need to bother trying anything else. See, backup solutions are like women, you don't really have to try them all to know when you've got the right one. Unless of course, you're somewhat challenged in the 'man-up' department, in which case...oh, but that's beyond the scope of this review!

There are seldom witty comments when a machine won’t boot, or is infected or you’re told to reinstall your OS – just flop-sweat and unprintable rants over lost data and lost time. I’ve relied on ATI to avoid that for years and with complete satisfaction. Easier to roll-back a clean image than to troll forums to learn how to get rid of that rootkit. Easier to recover a file from the last backup than mourn the one you deleted and overwrote. And ATI 2012 appears to have continued to add capabilities without adding bloat. “Try&Decide” should be appreciated by those who like to “tweak”, and including free “cloud storage” is a great bonus. I normally am more confident in “application-specific” software than “Swiss Army knife” utilities, but I’ll get rid of a couple of the former, if ATI 2011 is the replacement.

its one of the best system backup or recovery software....it has many features like startup recovery, rescue media builder, non stop backup, etc.......what i really like about this software is its try and decide features........whenever you turn on try and decide, you can install and run any software even malicious one.......and later on, if you want to keep it on system then simply right click its icon on taskbar and select apply changes.....if you don't want to keep it on system then click discard changes....then after the restart your system will come back to state before you have installed a software leaving no trace behind at all........and also it has great system backup and recovery speed..... i have used acronis true home since i tried it in 2010 it is simply the best back up/restore software on the market.
and i will suggest you buy it to replace windows back up even if you don't win it here. the best thing in my opinion would have to be clone disk thats why i got it to begin with i was changing from hdd to sdd and instead of reinstalling windows i cloned it still works great so i highly recommend it here and to all my friend's good luck on this one guy's

I try to do a backup a least once a week. The problem is buying a good backup program when money is tight. I just don’t feel my data is always safe under the control of Windows sometimes. I have had files mysteriously disappear one time when I was moving data around. Having a backup copy of my files is a must, but has been a manual process for me!

I've heard about this before. I need a backup solution, and I failed to get off my * to get a backup solution. So for about 2 years, I have no full system backups.. Just 2 USB sticks for a few files.

Coming to Acronis True Image Home, I tried it (2011 version) in February this year as I had to make an image of office laptop and my personal laptop as well. It installed well and completed the image for me. The HDD size was 40Gb. It took a long time to create an image which I saved on an external HDD. Approximately as I remember it took some 1.5hours. Not bad though.

On the main interface you get 3 options:

1. Backup critical data: using this you could either backup your complete PC, and/or My-
Documents folder alone.
2. Backup assistant: using this it allows you to select either of MyComputer/ File&folders of your choice / Emails. In addition you can setup a schedule to do so. Very useful in my view.
3. Email: to makeup your emails. You can select what all email-folders/client you want to backup.

For ANY backup there are 3 options:

1. Full backup- Single version scheme - here the new back is FULL & overwrites the old one
2. Incremental backup- version chain scheme - here it creates a FULL backup & then incremental backups until 30days. Then it creates another FULL and deletes all (full+incrementals). Then follows Incremental backups..and so ..on. This scheme saves a lot of space.
3. Custom method: here you can select either Full / incremental / differential -with other settings such as when & how often.

The home screen shows you the options on the top and the backup-lof (if any) on the bottom. It has all the backup history.

As everyone knows that Acronis True Image Home is just a backup & recovery software, let me expose you to unknown yet useful features provided by Acronis True Image Home.

1. Try & Decide - this create a virtual storage on your C-drive, where you can try & test new softwares, websites, etc - without affecting your real drive. It is desabled by default, so you want to enable it before using. You fell to argue with me on this as there is sandboxie & many Internet Security solutions provide a similar virtual environment. The gain is that if you are OK with the changes made (example an attachment downloaded from email) you CAN have that download SHOW in your REAL DRIVE. You need get back to the REAL drive and then re-download. Just Apply changes and DONE. This is not possiblel in any other virtual/sandboxie software. Feel free to correct me.

2. Disk & Partition backup - I had to re-mention this as it allows doing a backup of each of your partitions such as Reserved, Recovery or System. It does creates the backup on a removable media (CD/DVD) and even makes it bootable.

3. Non-stop backup - It is a Real time backup of whatever you select.

4. Conversion to/from Acronis disk image (tib file) to a Windows (vhd virtual disk) - again very useful to convert the proprietary Acronis image in TIB format to Microsoft image format VHD. Good for system migrations.

5. Settings backup - Allows you to backup/import the settings. A real time saver.

6. Secure Zone - it sounds confusing but is another Great feature. Why, because you can
save/image your system on the same system/drive, by creating a secure-zone - which acts a the image destination.. I would love to use this, as will provide me no hassle backups, that too on the same laptop.Woooooooo

7. Bootable media builder- helps creating an emergency boot disk. Good for those bad times.

8. Acronis Startup Recovery Manager - this is very helpful as it will allow you to load Acronis before Windows boot. Good for those times when windows is dead + you do not have a recovery CD in hand. Just boot in Acronis (new term I coined) and Violla---Windows is alive & recovered.

9. Other disk utilities - such as driver cleaner for permanent erasing, file shredder and Complete system cleaner.

The new Acronis True Image Home 2012 version is still more powerful and has some exciting new features such as:

1. A Boot in the Right Direction - a F11 to select Acronis recovery, when Windows fail
2. Network Backup Made Simple - for backup to Network Attached Storage (NAS)
3. For Big Appetites - for HDD >2Tb. Acronis Extended Capacity Manager allows you to handle such large drive, as windows cannot address them.
4. Stay in Sync - Allows to Synchronize data across multiple computers/devices and even FILES. Cooooooooooooooolll

Given my above (trial-limited) experience on 2011 version and the great features in 2012 version, I just want this piece of software. My bad that I missed the golden opportunity to participate for it in Softpedia's celebrations in May this year for 100 licenses giveaway. HEAD-BANG. Thanks for this Giveaway Soptpedia.Acronis True Image is world's best Backup tool.I am currently using 2011 version it is really good but i want to upgrade to 2012 as it has a lot of new improvements like "File Synchronization" between two or more PCs ,Complete Network Backup,and also "Extended Capacity Manager" more than 1.5 tb HDD.The new F11 key start up recovery feature is the best as i don't have to care up boot CDs or any other thing.People do care about antivirus and firewall but they never care about backing up their important data.I am also a victim of it and after that one mistake i am continuously using a data backup software.Apart from the normal backup features acronis true image also offers Email backup,try and decide feature which can let us try any suspicious thing without any damage to our system[not working on dynamic disk :( ].We can also mount image through acronis home manager and can also convert our windows backups to acronis backups and vice versa.It also offers some privacy cleaning tools like File Shredder,Drive Cleanser and also System cleanup tools.It is a complete package with a lot of functions.I really want this.Please count me in.

My pc backup and recovery solution need this Acronis True Image Home 2012.

I occasionally get called upon in an emergency to fix my friend's and family's computers when they crash or when someone does something stupid (like running trojan software). Not too long ago, my friend Jack was having all sorts ot problems after installing some software of dubious origin. I thought the only solution would be to format and reinstall everything. Fortunately for both of us, whomever sold him the computer had installed the Acronis software and set it up to make backups. Well, instead of spending hours reinstalling everything, we just grabbed a usable backup and brought his system back to life. Even though I am very careful, myself, I'd love to have a copy of this to use when I get beta software to try which doesn't uninstall well. That would make my life a lot easier, for sure!

Second i make one acronis backup that my pc installed all type 56 softwares
within 15 minutes with OS.
and
third if you have one office which have atleast 15 and more pc and what install any os with software so each take at least 5 hours means 5* 15= 75 hours
but
acronis minimized that all in jst 1.5 hours means save approximately 90-95% times and light also

Happy Birthday Softpedia! Many times I had problems with my Windows, and every times I had to instal my system again. This is what each of us have to get for computer. I would like to win one but.....

Special program that allows you to do in a few minutes an image of any partition, where we want to save (HD, CD, DVD, etc..) And restore it without any problems (even starting from the CD that is created after the installation of program, or even Windows, if you can not boot).
Acronis True Image works with any type of partition, regardless of operating system or the size of the partition (FAT32, NTFS, or whatever).
We must work it out a little but then everything becomes easy and reliable.


I have one older and everything runs extremely well, I hope to get this last 2012.

I can not make long comments, but I do know this software, because I use one older version (2009). I choose this one as my only backup software, it is awesome, complete and easy to use. I have ever try Norton Ghost, but then decide to use Acronis solution.
Please give me one, and I will surely install and use the trial installer I have already downloaded. Acronis, you made such an awesome software. Thank you Softpedia and Acronis.

I will not comment ATI. There is no need for that. Everybody knows what ATI is, and what it can do for us to make life easier.
I am going to tell you another story...
Here where I live now (in Serbia), I am an apatrid. Do you know what it means? It means a person without identity: No IDs, no legal job, no bank account, no credit cards...nothing.
Oh no, I am not complaining of my poor life. I am complaining of inability of buying commercial softwares through the Internet. I just can't pay because I don't have any * credit card. So I am forced to use only free softwares, or free versions of the commercial ones...or, if I am lucky, to grab some through various promotions.
I am getting a little bit tired of that.

One drive dies three weeks ago, RMA'd and Win 7 reinstalled.....one lost partition table thanks to a well-known multimedia suite install killing it during the rebuild 2 weeks ago....could you not have run this competition a month ago? Acronis True Image would have helped but Acronis True Fortune Teller might have predicted the hassle in the first place and helped me avoid it, so you know what I'll be asking Santa for this year! :)

This 2012 version is extremely flawed and buggy. Incremental backups simply do not work. Same goes for their so called Nonstop backup which is supposed to backup only the changed portions of files. That`s on top of annoying interface glitches and very slow performance. Don't buy this product before checking the extremely unsatisfied customers in their support forums. I have been an Acronis fan for many years but their recent and complete lack of commitment to quality is making this boat sink.

programu do robienia kopii zapasowych systemu i jeszcze się nie za -

Against all other similar programs it is the only one which will do the job

Kilka krotnie już stawiałem system. Mam nadzieje, że dzięki Acronis True Image Home 2012 który ma ogromną ilość opcji tworzenia kopi zapasowych począwszy od pojedynczych plików jak i całych dysków z możliwością monitorowania zmian praktycznie na bieżąco. Oceniany wysoko przez wszystkich tu piszących i chwalony za jego wszystkie opcje i możliwości zabezpieczy mój komputer na stałe.

I hope that with Acronis True Image Home 2012 which has a huge amount of options for creating backups from individual files or entire disks with the possibility of monitoring changes in practice to date.
