Japanese carrier SoftBank has just unveiled its lineup of Android phones for the winter and spring season. Among the upcoming device, one in particular caught our eyes, the DM014SH.

Obviously, the name doesn’t mean anything, so it requires some kind of an explanation. Well, the codename stands for Disney Mobile 04SH, so expect this one to come with cartoon-themed content.

First of all, the device will be available in pink and white color options. Secondly, it features Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters etched on the back hood.

There’s no doubt about it, the phone’s software is stuffed with dedicated content, such as wallpapers, ringtones and videos.

As with all the Android smartphones launched in Japan, the upcoming Disney Mobile is waterproof and offers all kinds of services only available in the Land of the Rising Sun.

If you thought that this Disney Mobile smartphone is aimed at kids, then you’ll be surprised to know the device is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

Although the carrier did not unveil any info regarding the CPU, it’s likely the phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 chipset.

Aside from the powerful processor, the smartphone packs 1GB of RAM and only 8GB of internal memory, but users will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the Disney Mobile boasts an impressive 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. A secondary front-facing camera for video calls is included as well.

Another strong points of the smartphone are the LTE technology and the stunning 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution.

Last but not least, the device will be shipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, but the handset maker promised a Jelly Bean update would be delivered soon after launch.
