Before she started dating one of the hunkiest and beefiest men in showbiz, Joe Manganiello, Sofia Vergara dated businessman Nick Loeb between 2010 and 2014. They were on and off towards the end, but they were also making plans to have children together.

He is determined to have them even if they’re no longer a couple, without Sofia. InTouch Magazine has obtained documents filed in court by Loeb, trying to block Sofia from destroying the 2 female embryos created through IVF.

Nick wants the embryos, regardless of what Sofia wants

According to court documents, the embryos were created about 6 months before the split, at a time when Nick hadn’t yet proposed to Sofia. They had already tried getting pregnant, to little success, and were considering surrogacy.

They discussed what should happen to embryos in the eventuality of their death, with Sofia checking on the form the option to have them thawed and destroyed.

Nick didn’t agree, but when she tried to cause a scene at the clinic, he did not pursue the matter further.

Now, it seems, Sofia wants to go ahead and have the 2 female embryos destroyed, but Nick is set on having the babies through a surrogate. He is asking the judge to block her from carrying out her plan, saying he is pro-life and would consider it murder.

Sofia was abusive, both verbally and physically

Perhaps even more shocking than the revelation that Nick wants to keep his and Sofia’s embryos is the claim that she was very abusive towards him, both verbally and physically.

“She punched him in the face on two occasions, kicked him, and threw her phone at his head. She also routinely bullied him, calling him a ‘loser,’ ‘worthless’ and other degrading names,” Loeb writes in the documents.

The only reason he didn’t pursue the topic of the fate of the embryos in case of their death was that she was getting ready to launch another attack on him, and he tried to prevent it.

The celebrity publication says that both parties are identified in the documents as “John Doe” and “Jane Doe,” but insists that the case is about Nick and Sofia.

The “Modern Family” actress spoke once about her plans to have another child, saying she was having her eggs frozen in case she and Nick would one day want to start a family. She is yet to address the latest round of allegations.
