Sofia Vergara has all the reasons to be all smiles: her career is booming, she's just laded herself a hunk of a man, and she's just made the top spot of the Highest Paid TV Actress list for the third consecutive year.

The actress managed to get on top of the list by earning a cool $37 million (€28.1 million) last year according to NY Daily News. Most of that paycheck comes from the ABC comedy series “Modern Family,” which earns her over a quarter million dollars per episode.

The Latina actress has thus outpaced Mariska Hargitay, who appears on the NBC show “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” who came in at just $13 million (€9.8 million). The number three spot on the list was nabbed by comedic actress Kaley Cuoco from CBS' “The Big Bang Theory” who managed to rake in $11 million (€8.3 million).

Apart from her roles, Vergara also rounds up her earnings from endorsement deals with beverage companies, as well as cosmetic and clothing companies. As part of her business empire, she also co-founded that Latin World Entertainment company, which finds and manages new talents.

Other actresses on the top spots were Juliana Margulies who tied on fourth place with Ellen Pompeo and Cobie Smulders from the CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother.”
