14 DAY TRIAL // The year is still young, but that doesn't mean we can't already shower celebrities with superlatives. However, never before have they been more deserved: Sofia Vergara has just been named AskMen's Most Desirable Woman of 2012.
The Columbian actress, star of “Modern Family,” isn't just incredibly gorgeous and down to earth, the publication says, explaining its choice for a number 1.
She's also extremely talented, funny and relatable, which makes her a hit with both men and women.
“The jaw-dropping Modern Family star is one of our favorite things about one of our favorite comedies. Vergara shows off the best cleavage on network TV, and we've never been more jealous of Ed O'Neill,” the men's magazine writes.
However, saying she's only good looking would mean underestimating Sofia.
“Despite her obvious assets, Vergara's also one very funny woman, lampooning stereotypes with her perfect timing. You don't have to pretend to laugh at her jokes, even if you do have to make a concerted effort to pay attention to them,” AskMen says.
In a statement issued to the mag, Sofia shows just how funny she can be, which is why so many people love her.
“I am so honored to be AskMen’s most desired woman this year. A big thank you to all the men who desire me,” she says.
Of course, the other women in the top 99 are just as sizzling hot as Sofia.
At number 2, we find Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton, dubbed by AskMen “2011's hottest find.” She's followed closely by Rooney Mara, who is now riding the wave with “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.”
Victoria's Secret Angel and new mommy Miranda Kerr is at number 4, with rapper and fashion icon Nicki Minaj rounding up the top 5.
Funny girl Emma Stone lands in at number 6, followed by Scarlett Johansson, reality star Kim Kardashian, singer Rihanna and, on the 10th position, another VS Angel, Candice Swanepoel.
