Facebook users have been spoiled lately with the increase of apps and the open arms approach the company has been taking since Twitter became larger than life itself. Recently, Facebook announced a new application available for fan pages that let owners syndicate news and content to Twitter as well.

Stay N’ Alive Productions, a startup company founded by Jesse Stay, has come to the aid of regular users on Facebook, providing the same features the social network native app has offered to special members. No discrimination.

The app, named SocialToo, is a great way of publishing content from a Facebook profile page (Facebook wall) to other social networks. For now, only Twitter status updates are supported.

Installing the application, users may find that this cross-site application does not let down when it comes to security, requiring multiple levels of authentication and product installation confirmation. After this operation, users can go to the Facebook status update box (“the publisher”), click the drop-down arrow, and select from the list SocialToo. There, users will enter the content that they want to update and click “OK.” They can select to publish via multiple networks or websites (like we said before, only Twitter is available for now).

When choosing for the first time to publish content via an external website, the application will redirect the user to an authentication page, and after a successful login, will redirect them to the Facebook account.

Social-networking power users will just go nuts over this tool. Exploiting one of humanity's most common sins, sloth, SocialToo provides the easiest interface to manage two different accounts inside a single page on the most used social networking websites today: Twitter and Facebook.

The application install page can be found at this link. A Facebook account is required.
