Snowlinux 2 RC Has Linux Kernel 2.6.32

Snowlinux 2 RC codenamed Ice, a Linux distribution based upon the stable and latest Debian 6 Squeeze distro with a LTS Linux kernel 2.6.32, Chromium browser, Icedove, Banshee and Shotwell, has been announced and it's available for download.

Snowlinux 2 RC has a lot of new features and most of them are quite important, such as an improved installer, a firewall, Apturl, terminal colors, open as administrator function, open in terminal function, OpenJDK 6 Java, up-to-date packages, a new look and fell, and other system wide improvements.

It also features some pretty low system requirements as it basically run on most x86 CPUs and it need 256 MB of RAM memory, 2GB of free disk space, a graphics card capable of 800x600 resolution, and an USB port or CD-ROM.
