This past December, a two-year-old dog named Kabang saved the life of two girls by jumping in front of a motorcycle which was about to hit them. Unfortunately, this caused the canine to lose her snout, seeing how the motorcycle pretty much tore off her face.

Thanks to a fundraising campaign, Kabang was brought to the US, where specialists working with the William R. Pritchard Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at UC Davis were supposed to try and do some damage control.

More precisely, they wish to properly close her wounds and fix her teeth.

Recent news on this topic informs us that, before Kabang can undergo these surgeries, she will have to receive treatment for heartworms and for a vaginal tumor. Hopefully, some good news concerning Kabang will soon come our way.

For the time being, one can honestly say that this dog must be one of the most unlucky in the world.
