One celebrity connection that seemed nearly impossible to make until just recently is that between actress Cameron Diaz and rapper Snoop Dogg. Nevertheless, it exists – and it goes back to high school days.
Cameron is currently promoting “Green Hornet” and is therefore doing the media rounds. On George Lopez the other night, she reminisced a bit about high school and how tough it was, as the video below will also confirm.
One thing that perhaps very few people knew about the actress must be that she went to the same high school as Snoop. Even more, she may have also bought pot from him, she says.
“We went to high school together, he was a year older than me,” Cameron told Lopez. And, while it’s hard to remember all the people she went to school with, she’s almost convinced that Snoop was there.
“He was very tall and skinny and wore lots of ponytails in his hair and I’m pretty sure I got weed from him. I had to have!” the actress says, joking that she was “green” even from back then.
In the same interview, Cameron also reveals how tough high school was, and not only in the sense she had typical teenager problems. There were also fights and, most of the time, they were unprovoked.
“High school was pretty rough. Anytime you heard the locker slam and you’d turn and there was a girl taking off her earrings, she’s pulling her hair back in a ponytail and she's taking all her friends’ rings and coming at you like this,” Cameron said.
“It was like ‘OK, everybody get back’ and you’d be wondering ‘Is she coming at me?’ I used to get in fights with boys more than girls, for some reason boys liked to fight me,” the actress also revealed.
