14 DAY TRIAL // The Situation did not make it too far on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, despite his earnest efforts to impress the ladies with his moves. Snooki will hopefully fare better, as a new report claims she’s been approached to be on the new season of the show.
For the time being, this is just speculation, since the official lineup for the new season is yet to be announced.
As for how negotiations go, ABC is not in the habit of commenting on the stars it approaches with offers, let alone the offers themselves.
Nevertheless, the Daily Mail writes that there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll see the diminutive reality star – known from the infamous MTV reality show “Jersey Shore” – shaking her tailfeather on the dancefloor.
“She is famous for her intoxicated antics and televised partying which has seen her drunkenly dancing in nightclubs. But now Snooki may be given the chance to really show off her skills on the dance-floor,” the British tab writes, citing reports in the US media.
“The 23-year-old Jersey Shore star, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, is reportedly in talks to join the 13th season of hit show Dancing With The Stars, which premieres in September,” the Mail adds.
“Although nothing is confirmed, ABC has approached the star and she is considering their offer, according to Us Weekly,” says the same media outlet.
In the meantime, it could be that Snooki has bigger problems to deal with, if we’re to believe one of the men she dated for a few months some time ago.
After a video of a drunk Snooki dancing with a potted plant in the hall of a hotel emerged online, her ex took to Twitter to accuse MTV of turning her into a raging alcoholic.
Nicole’s antics in front of the camera were all part of the character of Snooki as MTV designed it, he said, and producers kept pushing her to bring it out as often as possible, in the process making her a ruined woman, the ex claimed, as we also reported at the time.
