14 DAY TRIAL // The other day was court day for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who had to face the music for a drunk and disorderly July arrest. Though happy with the sentence, the reality star was quite offended about the judge told her.
As we also reported, before passing on his sentence, Judge Damian Murray passed on some judgment, telling the pint-sized reality star that she should really check herself before she broke herself, as the saying goes.
Not only did the judge admonish her for her actions, but he also called her a “wannabe Lindsay Lohan,” which she found quite offending, People magazine writes.
After walking away with 2 days of community service and a fine on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal annoyance, Snooki reveals she was hurt by how the judge addressed her.
For starters, even if she did get drunk that one time and made a fool of herself, she never did drugs or got behind the wheel after ingesting alcohol.
Therefore, comparisons between her and Lindsay Lohan are quite meritless, she says.
“I definitely thought it was harsh. I never drank and drove, I don’t do drugs – I do nothing that Lindsay does, so it was definitely a little overboard,” Snooki says.
Still, she’s happy to put the ordeal behind her and insists she’s learned her lesson: moderation is essential, especially if you’re a star like she is and risk having your every move (or nosedive) documented on camera.
“I’m over it. I’m just really happy that it’s over and that the criminal charge was dismissed because that was just insane,” the reality star says of the charge of being criminally annoying.
“I was really nervous about it. I’m just really happy it’s over. That was crazy for me,” she explains, adding she’s on her way home, to spend some quality family time.
As we also reported the other day, after questioning her whether her shameless behavior had been scripted for the “Jersey Shore” reality show, Judge Murray didn’t mince words in criticizing her.
“Going through life rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent is not the way you want to go through life,” he told Snooki, warning her to get her life back on track before it wasn’t too late.
