Snooki, one of the stars on MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” is now pregnant with her first child but, unlike Jessica Simpson, she’s not indulging in any fatty foods. In fact, the diminutive reality star jokes, she’d “die” if she ever got that big.

Jessica too is expecting her first child and she made no secret about how she indulged her every whim during the 9 months (she’s due any day now, reports in the media say).

She also knows that she’s gained more weight than other women, but she’s determined to get her body back after she gives birth.

If you ask Snooki, Jess probably gained too much weight because just the thought that she could ever get this big makes her giggle and shudder at the same time.

“I would die if I were her size,” Snooki laughs in an interview with Us Weekly.

Her boyfriend, the father of her baby, agrees: “She's like 45 months pregnant right now!” he says of Simpson.

“She said she indulged in everything that she wanted. I'm trying to each healthy – fruits, lots of jelly and Italian ices. Nothing fattening at all,” Snooki goes on to say.

Consequently, she’s hardly gained any weight: at 5 months, she can still afford not to wear maternity clothes because she’s barely showing.

“I'm so skinny that I can wear larges or extra larges. I only just bumped up to a medium. I'm five months and you can't really see anything. It's gonna pop up in like a week,” the star explains.

As it happens, Snooki isn’t the only celebrity to pick on Jessica for gaining weight while with child, as we also informed you some time ago.

Joy Behar ripped into her on The View, saying people would criticize her for getting fat, were it not for the baby.

“Remember the time that Jessica Simpson was criticized because she didn’t know the difference between chicken and tuna? That kind of thing is more fun to criticize than the fact that the girl is fat,” Behar said.

“Most women who are pregnant are not supposed to gain more than 25 pounds [11.3 kg]. She looks like she gained a lot more than that,” she added.
