Snooki was never quite the role model for healthy living mostly because of her outspoken love of alcohol and junk food. These days, though, she’s cutting a much slender and considerably healthier figure.The latest print issue of Us Weekly will bring a lengthy interview with the MTV reality star on how motherhood has changed her life and, by extension, her body as well.
As of now, only the preview is available, together with the cover photo, which you can also see attached to this article: to say that Snooks has lost a lot of weight since her hellraising days is quite the understatement.
Rocking a two-piece swimsuit in her favorite animal print, Snooki smiles proudly for the camera, showing off the “extreme body makeover” she’s undergone since giving birth to her first child last August.
Having lost 42 pounds (19 kg), it’s no wonder she’s eager to boast about it.
“There's a little bit less of Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi to go around these days – 42 pounds' worth!” Us writes.
“The former Jersey Shore party girl, 25, has experienced a complete life makeover since last year, thanks to her engagement to boyfriend Jionni LaValle, her first-ever pregnancy, and the August birth of her adorable baby boy Lorenzo,” the same publication notes.
Today, Snooki weighs in at 102 pounds (46.2 kg), but she tells Us that she decided to get in top shape for her man, whom she’s set to marry at a later, yet announced date.
“When you have a baby, everything changes. I lost it for me, but I also wanted Jionni to know that I can be hot as a mom,” Snooki says for the celebrity publication.
The print issue, which will be out on newsstands this Friday, will offer more insight into Snooki’s makeover, presumably complete with tips and tricks, both for her diet and her workout. More photos will probably be included as well.
