Snooki of MTV's “Jersey Shore,” real name Nicole Polizzi, is about to drop the biggest bomb on the world: she's pregnant. The claim comes via Radar Online, citing its sister publication Star.Granted, Star doesn't have the most squeaky clean reputation ever but, as they say, there's never smoke without a fire.
Apparently, Snooki has been telling friends and family the happy news, and is looking forward to sharing it with the rest of the world.
She's going to be a mommy very soon.
“The pint-sized reality star and her boyfriend of a year, Jionni LaValle, are expecting their first child, reveals the upcoming issue of Star,” Radar writes.
Unnamed sources confirm this for the celebrity publication, saying an official announcement should drop anytime soon.
“She is pregnant and has only told her closest friends and some family,” an insider says.
Snooki has also been teasing others with this, telling people that she has some major announcement coming. She didn't offer more details, but they must already suspect what it is.
“She’s been telling people that she has a big announcement coming,” the spy dishes.
Of course, a pregnancy will not only change Snooki's personal life, but might also influence her career, the report goes on to argue.
News of the pregnancy comes just as she and good friend JWoww are getting ready to start shooting for a “Jersey Shore” spinoff and, of course, producers will have to include the pregnancy in the storyline as well.
“They are having to redo the creative direction of her spin-off because of her pregnancy,” says the spy.
Assuming all this is true and Snooki is really pregnant with her first child, she's definitely not showing yet.
Just minutes ago, she
tweeted a picture of herself with friends – and she's wearing a tight dress with a see-through panel that can't possibly hide a baby bump.
Then again, she might not be that far along.
Expect some sort of statement from Snooki herself any minute now.
