14 DAY TRIAL // Snooki gave birth to her first child 6 days ago but she’s wasting no time in sharing her joy with the world. This week’s issue of People magazine brings the first official look at Lorenzo Dominic, Snooki and Jionni LaValle’s son.
As the photos attached to this article confirm, Snooki (real name Nicole Polizzi) is keeping her promise of making her little man the most fabulous looking celebrity tot around: just check out his fancy shoes!
Speaking with the magazine, the pint-sized reality star stresses that the Snookster audiences at home first met on the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore,” always falling off drunk, is long gone.
Never again will someone see her engaging in such activities, leading such a troubled life because she has her little man to think of now.
“When I got pregnant, everything changed. The partying is long gone. I’m a new person,” she tells the magazine.
As expected, Snooki also gushes about what it’s like to be a mother. She and fiancé Jionni LaValle did not plan the pregnancy but, even so, it came to change their life for the better in the most unexpected way.
“It’s a different kind of love that I never felt before,” Snooki says, cradling her 6-day old baby in her arms.
As for how they came up with the name, Lorenzo Dominic, the reality star reveals that it was Jionni’s idea to name him Lorenzo, and she was truly pleased with it.
“We were going back and forth, and I just happened to think of Lorenzo. She loved it,” the proud daddy says.
Dominic “is in memory of Polizzi’s uncle, who died,” People reports, citing Snooki as saying she chose it to please her father.
Precisely one week ago, we were telling you of intense talk about how Snooki’s baby pics had already caused a fierce bidding war amongst celebrity magazines, each hoping to land the exclusive.
Considering that it eventually went to People, we might as well assume that Snooki made a small fortune off it: about $250,000 (€199,425.7), according to reports.
