14 DAY TRIAL // Snooki of the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore” may be petite but he can surely hold her drink. The other day was an exception, though, as a party Seaside Heights took a turn for the worse when Snooki eventually found out that she was so intoxicated she could barely stand, which drew the attention of police officers. She was arrested, taken to police headquarters and summoned to court, E! Online reports.
TMZ has video of both the moment the arrest went down and of a faceplant Snooki took only minutes before being handcuffed, as she was trying to mount her bike. Judging from the videos – and the photos that have already surfaced online – Snooki was heavily intoxicated, with reports saying she’d spent the entire day drinking from a beer bong and having body shots. MTV cameras were, of course, at hand to shoot every second of the entire scene.
“Today on the Jersey Shore: Snooki. Literally. The MTV star found herself getting hauled off in handcuffs by Seaside Heights’ Finest for drunk and disorderly conduct Friday after passing out during a marathon bout of afternoon partying on the boardwalk, E! News confirmed. The artiste otherwise known as Nicole Polizzi had spent the day with her Shore pals shooting on location. ‘They were in here this morning filming,’ says an employee at E J’s Dance Club. ‘She seemed OK then.’ But somewhere along the line, things went from OK to unstable,” E! reports.
“‘She was passed out face down in the sand,’ says another eyewitness of Snooki’s face-plant. ‘She couldn’t even stand up. She was on her knees and kept falling on the beach. People were laughing and taking pictures of her before the cops arrested her.’ The Seaside Heights Police Department said that she was transported to police headquarters and released after being issued a summons to appear in court. ‘On my way to free snooki!!,’ tweeted Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley. ‘We need to hold a candlelight vigil outside the police station!’” the same e-zine goes on to say.
Indeed, Snooki’s drunken scene did prove quite the attraction for everybody on the beach, as many took out their cell phones to snap pictures and videotape her. Then again, it’s not like the diminutive star is known precisely for her demure behavior, so it could just be that all this was scripted for the “Jersey Shore” episode they were shooting, it is being said.
