There was a time when all that Snooki was famous for was her ability to down countless Margaritas, make out with girls afterwards, and dance with potted plants in hotel halls, much to the delight of the Internet. Today, she’s a respectable businesswoman and a mother of one, and, in her new book, she recalls how she was almost sent to rehab.

The book is called “Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama and All the Messy Milestones Along the Way” and will be coming out very soon. Radar Online obtained excerpts from it and, as it happens, Snooki also details her last shameful drunken outing with the girls, which occurred just one month after she gave birth and almost landed her in rehab.

The pint-sized reality star says that, one month after welcoming her son into the world, she decided she deserved to hit the clubs once more, for a little “me time” with the girls. That, of course, also involved booze, which she started guzzling the moment she stepped into the limousine.

By the time they were on the highway, she was already drunk, Snooki says.

“After champagne we switched to sake bombs… Four different kinds of alcohol were pushed through my pregnancy-scrubbed liver. I got twisted. After being a saint for ten months, I had no idea what my tolerance level was anymore. I blacked out, and only found out what happened the next day,” she writes.

She learned that she’d made a fool of herself, had danced in all the girls’ laps and made out with her good friend JWoww, and pretty much acted like she was the same old Snooki fans got to know on MTV’s infamous reality series Jersey Shore.

The next day, she adds, she was so ashamed to tell her fiancé Jionni what she’d done that she chose the easy way out, of not having to look him in the eye, and texted him even though they were sitting side by side on the couch.

His reaction was harsh: “You’re a coward and a horrible mother and fiancée. Pack your bags and get out,” he told her. “Jionni had also mentioned something about rehab,” Snooki writes.

She called JWoww crying and they chatted for a while. Her friend eventually convinced her that Jionni has to take her as she is, with good and bad, even if that includes drunken spells when she makes a fool of herself. Rehab wasn’t what she needed, she just needed “a break.”

Snooki and Jionni kissed and made up soon, and she swore she’d never drink again.
