Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Launch Date Set for March 12

The development team at City Interactive is announcing that it is now set to launch its upcoming Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 on March 12 of this year, on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.

The game was expected to arrive in late February and this is just the latest in a series of delays that have affected the first-person shooter.

It’s unclear whether the new date has been chosen in order to give Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 a competitive change in the rather busy spring launch season or whether City Interactive needs more time to make the title feature complete.

When the announcement was made, City Interactive also delivered a new trailer for Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, which showed some of the unique mechanics and challenges that the shooter could offer.
