Developer Rebellion has released a new trailer for the upcoming tactical shooter Sniper Elite 3, this time around showcasing the game's multiplayer mode.

The latest trailer shows off what players can expect from the game's multiplayer modes, both the competitive one as well as the cooperative variant.

Sniper Elite 3 supports up to 12 players in multiplayer, allowing up to two gamers to tackle the difficult campaign missions together, in the online co-op mode available for both Windows PC and consoles, at launch.

The competitive multiplayer mode brings five different gameplay modes to the table, allowing players to duke it out and shoot each other in the face in varied ways, as the gory slo-mo shots in the trailer depict so well.

The third-person shooter continues the story of Karl Fairburne during World War 2, this time around taking the conflict to the North African theater of operations, battling against a deadly new adversary.

Sniper Elite 3 is scheduled for launch on June 27 in Europe, and July 1 in North America, on the Windows PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 platforms. The pre-order bonus for the game is an exclusive mission that challenges gamers with taking down Adolf Hitler himself, during a surprise visit to North Africa.
