Snapseed Is Now Free for iPhone and iPad Users

Named Best Mobile Photo App of 2012 by TIPA, Snapseed 1.5 is out with a cool new icon and an even cooler price tag. Boasting Google+ sharing features and new filters, Snapseed is now a free app for all iOS customers.

Thanks to the built-in Google+ button, Snapseed users can share their works faster than ever. A new Retrolux filter creates scratches, textures and light leaks for “a truly retro look for your photos.”

The Frames filter gets an update to include new photographic frames with the ability to colorize the edges to match the look of an image. Alternately, users can switch to square mode.

The new Snapseed 1.5 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later. The app is optimized for iPhone 5.
