South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics is reportedly getting ready for the release of a new flavor of its Galaxy S4 Active smartphone in its homeland market.

The handset is expected to hit shelves with a Snapdragon 800 processor inside at wireless carrier SK Telecom sometime in October, chosun found out.

The new flavor of the device had been rumored a few times before, but no official confirmation on it emerged until now, SamMobile reports.

Galaxy S4 Active arrives on shelves with a rugged, water- and dust-proof design, and is IP67-certified. The new variant will feature support for SK Telecom’s LTE-A network, it seems.

The rest of the device’s hardware specifications should remain roughly the same, including its 5-inch full HD screen, and the 8-megapixel camera on the back. The smartphone also packs 2GB of RAM, and a 2600mAh battery.
