Misty Moser, from Gladstone, Oregon, was shocked after discovering a snake's head in her frozen green beans bag. She was preparing to cook a meal for her family when she saw the animal part and thought to be some pieces of vegetable frozen together. At a closer look she discovered it was part of a snake.

After buying a bag of Kroger Value brand green beans, Misty went home to prepare dinner. While defrosting the content of the bag, Mrs. Moser and her sister saw something rather peculiar unfolding in the bowl. What frozen seemed to be a lump of green beans turned into a snake's head under hot water.

“It started to kind of unfold. It was in a little ball and I noticed it has a mouth, nostrils, and little tiny eyes. Not what I thought I was buying,” the woman told Metro News. She reported the incident immediately and the store agreed to launch an investigation concerning the gruesome discovery.

Understandably, the woman panicked and spread the word around town while calling the Customer Care number from the bag of frozen vegetables. The representative didn't really believe Misty and offered Misty a discount, as expected the angry woman threatened to press charges if the matter was not handled properly.

“That’s a snake in green beans. It’s not like a stick or a rock. It’s an animal” Misty told the representative, who replied “well, nobody was injured and nobody got sick from it so our hands are tied.”

Finally, a public affairs representative apologized to Misty and to the other customers who purchased similar merchandise before starting an official investigation. After the shocking event Misty said she would never buy frozen aliments and that she would prefer serving her 6-year-old daughter pizza and fruit than risk her well-being with this kind of discoveries.
