The latest version of Smuxi can be downloaded from Softpedia

Smuxi, an irssi-inspired, flexible, user-friendly and cross-platform IRC client for sophisticated users, that is targeted for the GNOME desktop, is now at version 0.8.11.

The new version of Smuxi, 0.8.11, integrates a large number of fixes and 295 commits, which makes it one of the biggest releases so far.

Highlights of Smuxi 0.8.11:

• The menus and toolbars have been redesigned and revamped; • People can now be queried by clicking on their nickname; • The /exec command is now supported, so that users can execute commands right from Smuxi; • The navigation bar now displays color for highlights, messages and events; • The Campfire protocol has been added, which is a new protocol for Smuxi; • Various XMPP enhancements have been implemented.
