Smoothcreations has decided it's high time that gaming enthusiasts out there be provided with yet another high-end gaming PC that takes advantage of the latest in hardware technology, so this custom PC maker has released the P90X. Despite not being featured with Intel's latest flagship Core i7 processor, as most PC makers have been doing with their desktop gaming rigs as of recently, the P90X promises to deliver all the performance required by gaming users and technology enthusiasts.
The thing about the P90X is that it has been designed as a cool-looking desktop PC that can easily be carried to various LAN parties and other gaming competitions. The system is built inside a small footprint case, a feature that virtually enables the PC maker to use the term “portable” in reference to its latest desktop gaming rig.
According to Smoothcreations, the system has been developed to take advantage of the processing power delivered by Intel's Core 2 Extreme QX9770 CPU. In addition, the P90X can be configured with a user's choice of a water cooled Radeon HD 4870, 4870X2 H2O Special Edition, or either the AX or the HOC Edition of BFG's GeForce 280 graphics cards. These choices should make for a top-of-the line gaming PC, which will easily handle the latest gaming applications available on the market.
In true Smoothcreations spirit, the new P90X has been custom painted to allow users to stand out from the crowd and distance themselves from their competitors, who are likely to own a standard desktop rig. Aside from that, the P90X can be equipped with 4GB of Corsair Dominator RAM, which, coupled together with the high-performance Intel CPU and the high-end graphics cards, should guarantee an impressive gaming experience.
Price-wise, the P90X is available for immediate delivery with a starting price tag of $1,995.
