If you have recently become a SmoothCreations customer, then you already know what these guys are capable of. As mentioned in several of our previous articles, the company tries to do its best in providing its users with a unique computer system that can deliver an optimum performance for both gaming and day-by-day tasks. Their custom-painted chassis have become a genuine trademark and they alone are more than enough to make them stand out from the crowd. The latest addition to the high-performance desktop PCs is the Lan Shark system.

As expected, the new Lan Shark desktop rig comes with a mean, but unique exterior design that will most certainly make its users feel above average. The entire system has been build to fit in the Danger Den Tower 16, a micro tower chassis that “provides a great canvas for graphics and artwork,” as well as an adequate enclosure for your gaming rig.

Turning to the system's specifications, users should know that SmoothCreations has already configured three different models, each designed to meet the requirements of a new potential customer. All three Lan Shark configurations will be powered by Intel's processors, and run on ATI's latest Radeon HD 4870 graphics cards and G.Skill memory. In addition, all these Lan Shark custom desktop systems are built on a DFI LanParty P45 motherboard, so users should benefit from the latest in desktop computer performance.

There are certain differences between the “Affordable,” “PRO” and “Extreme” configurations, but they are more than enough to take the starting price tag from $1,345 to $3,943. The new Lan Shark desktop computer system is now set to become available through the company's website, NCIX, Microcenter and Walmart, so all interested parties will soon be able to get their hands on one of these mean-looking models.

Until then, bear in mind that owning one of these systems will certainly set you apart from all the other gaming enthusiasts out there.
