Developer Hi-Rez Studios announced that it is delivering a new Poseidon update for Smite, the action-driven Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game, which delivers a new hero to play with and an option to pay just once to get access to the entire cast.

The new package gives access to 30 gods that are already in the game and any subsequent ones that will be added in future updates.

Todd Harris, the chief operating officer at Hi-Rez, states, “Obviously, nothing changes for players who enjoy SMITE with the free-to-play model. But some players are sensitive to a perceived time grind with free-to-play titles and we want to give those players a simple alternative.”

The patch also introduces a number of gameplay and cosmetic changes.

The new Poseidon god also offers new tactical options for Smite players.
