You can almost smell the Christmas in the air

Pencils with funny smells are no new stuff as they've been around for so many years. Yet this doesn't mean that all sorts of improvements are impossible now; in fact, any cool features are more than welcome and seeing the new Smencils was a very pleasant surprise. We introduce to you a very fun way to add fragrance to your Christmas cards as you're actually writing them using Smencils.

It's obvious where the name comes from: smell and pencils, combined in one neat gadget for your holidays and other special occasions, writing love letters included.

One very nifty thing about the Smencils is that they're made from 100% recycled newspapers, meaning that their manufacturer has a keen eye on the "green issues" – thumbs up from us for that. At the same time, the scenting is made with natural flavors that gently rise as you use them. Put your letters in an envelope immediately and the vague perfume will last; just make sure they get to their destination in time.

You can choose from two different sets of 10 Smencils, each with a different scent palette to suit your tastes. The first set comes with an assortment of Cinnamon, Sugar Plum, Candy Cane, Gingerbread and Sugar Cookie while the other one has a more fruity approach to smelly writing and will fill your words with the scent of Watermelon, Cherry, Grape, Root beer, Pineapple, Peppermint, Orange and Bubblegum. A funny thing about this fruity set is that the Orange pencil writes in orange, the Grape one in purple and so on!

If you're thinking of adding more magic to the Christmas social rituals you can do it at a very nice price of $13 for the sugar-themed set and $14 for the fruity one. We're quite confident that the Smencils will be an instant hit the moment your children see them.
