The cat featured in the video above teaches us a lesson of perseverance and tenacity. He is trying to free himself from a cage but fails to do so on several occasions. However, the white cat doesn't give up. He cleverly uses his paw to push the lock and in the end manages to unlock the door and set himself free.

This clip appears to be designed to prove me wrong when I say that cats are not very intelligent animals.

The cat is called Marshmallow and the funny incident happened at a veterinary clinic in Marseille, France. The veterinary calls him now the “king of evasion.”

This Michael Scofield of cats figured out how the lock mechanism worked, but he needed some time to escape. Because his little paws don't really function like human fingers, he had some difficulties manipulating the lock, but his perseverance proved useful in the end.

He seems to be surprised that he was able to open the door. So, some say that the animal was just playing with the lock for fun and he didn't know it will open the cage.

Watch the epic escape in the video embedded above and judge for yourself.
