The Sly Cooper Collection, containing all of the original Sly Cooper games that were made for the PlayStation 2, is set to arrive in high definition on the PlayStation 3 on November 9, according to an announcement made by the development studio of the collection, Sanzaru Games.

A huge amount of popular franchises appeared on the PlayStation 2, so Sony is now making a profit by remastering those old games and releasing them in high definition and with new features for the PlayStation 3.

We've already seen the God of War Collection hit last year, before God of War III, and now the company is working on two other projects, the Sly Collection and the Team Ico one.

While the Shadow of the Colossus and the Ico games are still far from being remastered in HD, Sanzaru Games has also completed the Sly Cooper Collection, and has just announced that it will appear in North America on November 9.

The collection was announced this year at E3, and will include the three original games, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

Besides those titles, which are remastered in HD and viewable in 3D with crisp graphics and new textures, Sanzaru has also added four new minigames with support for the PlayStation Move.

The four minigames will star characters from all three games, including Sly Cooper, Bentley, Murray and Carmelita, and will still be playable with a regular DualShock 3 if you weren't among the people who already bought a PlayStation Move.

The Sly Cooper Collection will appeared in stores on November 9 for just 40 U.S. dollars, and will include all three games on one single Blu-ray disc.

In celebration of the upcoming launch, Sony has also revealed a new trailer for the Sly Collection, showcasing the story of the raccoon hero.
