Samsung U100 will impress the Romanian mobile phone market too from now on with its only 5,9 mm in thickness. These sizes make this mobile phone the slimmest in the world, without having to make compromises in terms of high performances.

The mobile phone packs a 3.2 megapixel camera, above the average standard set by even thicker devices. With this, the owner will be able to make video recording and use the autofocus function for better image quality. Samsung U100 has a 262k color display, of only 1.93 inches in size, which might be uncomfortable for those who have grown fond of the larger screens found in recently released handsets.

There is also an included media player capable of supporting some of the most commonly used video and audio formats. This can also run in the background, allowing the phone owner to use any of the other functions. Other specifications also include Bluetooth and USB connectivity, as well as GPRS and WAP 2.0 functions.

One useful thing about the Samsung U100 mobile phone is that it also packs the uGo software, which makes it possible to automatically respond to date and hour changes. The phone displays different images, animations and graphics, according to what time of the day it is. Another useful application is that of Mobile Tracker, which allows the phone owners be warned if a different SIM has been introduced in the handset, as an extra security feature.

The Samsung U100 mobile phone is part of the Ultra II line, along with the U600, i600 and F300 models. What all these devices hold in common is the incredibly slim case and elegant design to soothe the need for more and more compact devices that people have shown over the last period of time.

Samsung U100 will be available from now on in Romania too, for the estimated price of 950 RON.
