Alltel Wireless has recently released Samsung SCH-r510. This is an extremely functional mobile phone that distinguishes itself from others due to the slim and modern design.

Samsung SCH-r510 is one of the thinnest mobile phones, as it is only 8.4 mm thick and weighs 76.5g. The slim shape and the dark apparel make it stand out in the wave
of newly launched mobile phones. It could even turn out to be the thing that will make it popular, considering that the slim shape is extremely appreciated as other such phone models have made it clear. Still, it has a rough image and lacks refinement and elegance. The square, unpolished case makes this phone lose appreciation when it comes to style, but its thinness manages to compensate this lack.

Samsung SCH-r510 is equipped with a display of 220x176 pixels that supports 65536 colors. It also has a 1.3 Megapixels camera also capable of video recording. The available memory of this phone has not been specified, but it is comforting to know that it supports microSD Card slot as well as TransFlash.

When it comes to playing music, this mobile phone is equipped with an MP3 player, aside from supporting polyphonic ringtones. Connectivity and data transfer is ensured by Bluetooth and USB. Even more, is has GPRS and supports Java based applications.

Samsung SCH-r510 is available for purchase at Alltel for a price of USD50 with a two year service contract. Subscribing for this phone also brings My Circle calling service that allows unlimited calls to any 10 people at choice.
