Even though it’s not among the popular mobile browsers available on market, Sleipnir offers an interesting alternative to Android users who wish to try out more than one browser on their devices.

Aside from Android platform, Sleipnir Mobile browser is also available for iPhone / iPad and Windows Phone devices.

The application is developed by Fenrir and promises to help “you browse the Web with ease using the limitless possibilities of the highly customizable tabs and intuitive functionality possible with the vast selection of gestures.”

The latest version of Sleipnir Mobile makes tab contents viewable offline and includes a new option that allows users to change text encoding function. In addition, it brings support for calls from Google Voice Search and support for German language.

Sleipnir Mobile 2.4.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
