Google’s application store for Android contains lots of mobile browsers that promise a smooth navigation experience. Some are more popular among Android users, some still need certain improvements.

Sleipnir Mobile has more than 100k downloads on Google Play Store and is mildly-popular among Android users.

Developed by the folks over at Fenrir, the application has just received a new update that adds some functions and bug fixes.

According to developers, Sleipnir got a new function for picking up keywords from text in pages and searching for them and another one for restricting number of tabs to load.

A Show/hide status bar setting when in full screen mode has been added as well, along with a bug fix that corrects the UserAgent problem not being restored when restoring tabs issue.

Sleipnir Mobile Browser 2.7.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
