Fenrir Inc. released today an update for Sleipnir web browser. Version 4.3.0 of the application delivers a couple of important modifications and a small set of repairs.

First on the list is the replacement of WebKit engine with the newer Blink that powers the freshly released Chrome 28.

The second change in Sleipnir is that the FeedReader component no longer imports information from Google Reader, which has been discontinued at the beginning of the month.

The developer implemented a couple of fixes in this build. One of them addresses the issue with some bookmarks not being displayed when the folders in the bookmark panel are expanded.

Also repaired is the issue with the security settings that were not preserved when opening web links in separate tabs.
